Sorry for the long ass comment I’m about to type that will probably get glossed over and I’ll probably get dragged for but I was tested and then was diagnosed with bipolar 1 disorder 5 years ago. And I take a prescription called depakote for it and was also prescribed lorazepam for stress and anxiety and temazapam to help me sleep bc bipolar disorder gives me severe insomnia all my medications help not to have what’s called a mania or manic episode. I black out during my manias but thankful to god I’m non violent. My psychologist talked to me thoroughly about different disorders bc I asked if I had dissociative identity disorder or what’s more commonly known as split personality or multiple personality and he said I only had maybe 2 basic symptoms and when he described how bad split personality he told me the severe symptoms and I’ve watched videos of psychiatric patients with that disorder and that is what this rapper acts like. I’ve seen him pop up all over my feed for the past few weeks and so when he described his other personality named Melvin I looked up interviews etc. and that shit is real, raw and unscripted. I honestly believe he has split personality. If you don’t know what to look for or are not familiar with certain forms of mental illness it can happen with simple triggers before a switch to the other personality happen. What is most common are rapid eye movements, quick blinking, change in posture, change in pitch of voice, or negative emotion surfaces. I don’t know how this poor boy acquired split personality but usually an individual goes through severe trauma and acquired another personality or personalities to help cope. I attained bipolar disorder from my mothers physical abuse when I was a child. She beat my brother and I and we’re both scarred from it. If you took the time to read this thank you for bearing with me, I just wanted to state my personal opinion because this kinda hit home for me.
