First off, the track that has grown to be one of my absolute favs. AzChike CRUSHED his feature, it’s the stand out for me (it’s the first time I’ve heard him. Def checking more out)… Futhermore, it’s so cool to hear how truly humble and genuine Kendrick really is in real life. Everyone who was featured on GNX has said the same thing. With as big of an artist as Kendrick is to hear that he puts people at ease, truly is aware and a fan of what they do as well and lets them kno that. Doesn’t consider himself above people and is grounded.…. I also love the insight on the creative process with sharing the mumbling in his style already on the track. Clear instructions on what he wants, I kno what you do, this right here is where I hear you, do you. He’s not over their shoulder, trusts their ability. Gives them the opportunity to offer multiple versions of what it could be so in the end they can put together the best outcome, not just have one and be like nahhhh scrap it it doesn’t work here… Also love he shared you wouldn’t even kno he just demolished Drake. Cause Drake fans seem to think he’s obsessed. Nahhh ya’ll seem to think everything single thing is about Drake even when it’s not. Kendrick def comes off like, I got a freakin life, Drake doesn’t dictate what I do or the moves I make. At the same time has that human duality (that he’s very aware of and addresses) that comes off like, oh you still ain’t learned your lesson huh? So when there’s a time to drive the point home, he does it. 😂 Love it…. And love trippin energy right now, def justified and enjoyed by fans.
