I do think the Elite V2 is the best Controller on the Market - but I also think its great that we have many accessories to enable us to convert Tablets/Smartphones into 'Hand-held' gaming devices with game 'controller' inputs. I had considered this route, but as this predominantly relies on Cloud Streaming for 'Xbox AAA games' via Game Pass, I opted to go the RoG Ally route to have the hardware to play locally and use 'controller' inputs built in to that over its 'touchscreen'

That's definitely a controller that looks like somewhat of an acquired taste and at that price I think it's a hard sell, really!

That price is pretty competitive actually. You virtually can't find third party wireless Xbox controllers. That plus the mobile compatibility pretty much make this a unicorn product.

Depending on the weight of the clip this could Be a lighter option with a smaller display vs handhelds.. and you save money considering you need a phone anyways… Update.. it’s light with the clip vs handhelds

If only they would have pushed the "modularity" idea to the limit with removable thumbstick in case of one becomes faulty in six month ...like on the D's edge Hope Microsoft will release a series elite 3 all modular Modularity is the next big thing in controller game....

my controller has a bug to it and when i click the d pad it doesn't move and when i click the bind button it clips

Elite 2 controller biggest issue is the quality control for the price you pay, You expect premium quality but every time i google the controller there's countless threads about sticky buttons stick drift etc such a shame since it looks great has all the features you could want, hope they make an Elite 3 that fixes all the issues.

Would love to buy one when ever it drops in price, or ends up on mercari at big discount price. Love my sn30 pro when needing something portable. Have a elite 2, but use that while at home only. Sn30 is for my rog ally, or steam deck. Elite when docked or on series x.

Thank for finally confirming it doesn’t work with apple. I’ve been trying to pair this to my iPhone, but nothing on google search or anywhere says no Apple lol. Sucks because my game pass is on my iPad Pro

@Pure Xbox that's amazing I will definitely be looking into getting one. I had the moga xp5-x which worked well but with no rumble feature it kinda sucked.

Mate, the Elite 2 controllers are trash going by all the complaints about build quality, issues with drift and problems with buttons wearing out quickly. I'd probably buy a cut down version of this (i.e. without the grip) for my kids. I reckon it'd be great for smaller hands.

My only complaints are the bumpers feel flimsy and are very loud. It also doesn't have removable thumbsticks and the D-pad is the same crappy one from the default Series S/ X controller. I definitely overpaid

Dude without the grips that thing as the exact same design as the Rii controller/keyboard. Identical, and that thing has a keyboard and track pad on the back for 15 bucks. 😂 I like the idea of this a really do but that design is a rip from that horrible rii. Its very uncomfortable too and adding a detachable grip and phone clip, selling it as a "pro" controller with a huge price point makes me feel like this company thinks we're stupid. Thx for video and sorry for my rant 😅
