It's a 'cute' controller due to its form factor/size. Feels good in the hands, buttons are good but for the price you pay you don't get rumble and it doesn't display the battery life on the switch. You're better off spending a tad tiny bit more for a pro controller. Nano is £39.99 in the UK and pro is £49.99 in the UK. I don't regret buying it as I use it as a travel controller, I fit it into me PDP commuters case but like I said £10 more you can get a pro controller.

Thanks for the review! Gotta ask can this controller be plugged in and registered by my PC? How is it registered too? As a Switch controller or an Xbox controller or something else? Lastly what about longevity, can I be confident the sticks will last?
@NeiltendoPower3 жыл бұрын
I haven't tried myself, but I think plugging it in via USB would be the easiest way to connect. Pretty sure it registers as a standard Switch pro controller. For wireless, I think you'd need a bluetooth usb dongle. As far as longevity goes, I've only been using it for a few months, but I've had no issues. The sticks feel nice. I have several PowerA pro controllers and haven't experienced drift with any of them and don't think this controller would be any different. Maybe I've just been lucky and with anything like this YMMV. Thanks for watching!

Bummer! No drift to report from me but I admittedly haven't been using it a ton. I know of a few fixed for joy-on drift but not sure that would work in this case. The only thing I can think of would be trying some compressed air or contact cleaner around the stick. You could always try seeing if PowerA will do anything for you. I've heard they're pretty generous with returns/repairs. Thanks for watching!

@donjuandemarco4115 Жыл бұрын
I fixed drift on multiple controllers. Look up either BW-100 or WD40 electronics contacts cleaner. The problem is the sensors in the controller eventually get funky duo with dust hand sweat and gunk and they can’t register correctly. This spray resolves all that gunk allowing the sensors to register correctly. I fixed three joycons and two Xbox controllers but just spraying this and rotating the sticks for a few minutes. I barely used any of the product one bottle should last me a life time. It truely is magical stuff. I even used it on a volume knob on my gaming headset that wouldn’t turn up volume and now it works. At this point I’m looking for electronics to use it on. Magical stuff I went with the more expensive BW-100 it’s twice the price as the WD-40 brand but it promoted use with gaming controllers and promoted that it’s non conductive so it won’t ruin electronics.

I haven’t personally used it with Smash Ultimate, but I’ve found all the button response to be quick and accurate, except for the occasional missed input on the + and - buttons for some reason. The mappable triggers feel really nice and might come in handy for something like Smash. I did notice it became a little uncomfortable after playing Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity for a while since that’s a bit of a button masher and I have kinda big hands. Overall, I still find it really comfortable though. If you have smaller hands, I bet you’ll love the feel of it and I can’t see why it wouldn’t be a good fit for Smash. Thanks for watching!
