Mark's is the smartest in the beginning, let's say the 1st year or 2. Then build slowly as Mr Wonderful suggests. Then when your interests come rolling in, take most of it and invest in Real Estate after you have learned how to create cash flow in commercial properties while in those first few years & really start growing your wealth. Financial education is crucial in those first 3 years or so. Never spend the principal to pay for item's, service's, bills & product's! Always pay things & live off the interest(s). Good luck.

Kevin's advice is the after the fact from Mark Cuban's advice. Best to save it in the bank first, relax a little, let it settle in first. Then take SOME action
@BreuckelensFinest5 жыл бұрын
@@superduperboyx Bingo! After letting it settle in & getting use to the money, educate yourself on how to not lose the money, so this means living off the interest & not the principal. Then after a few years, let's say 2 or 3 years of getting use to that interest, in the meantime in between time of the 2 or 3 years, you should have been taking some Rich Dad investment classes & or some Grant Cardone classes to learn how to invest in some real estate. And if you're really bold & want to take it to the next level, you get trained by Dan Peña & see how tough you really are!? That's my advice, not that anyone asked. Salute.
@digolaverdad73134 жыл бұрын
Cubans advice was good but didnt explain it all the way through. Put it in the bank and relax for a little bit is a good advice. It means get used to having money without spending it. Regardless of how good investments can be, it's not wise to jump in if you were an average person one day and the next week you have 200 million dollars. Cubans is right when he says you need to take some time (weeks, maybe months) to calm down and reflect.

I'd hire a personal assistant to filter out all unwanted calls from friends and family. When I give money, I give it as a loan to be paid back later. I charge friends interest, but family no interest (depending on closeness of kin). But all have to have a well thought out business plan. If anyone gets mad you lent them the money, then they were never your friend and are actually jealous of your new found wealth. A true friend knows that that's your money and they're just glad that you gave them the loan to help them accomplish their dreams.

@acciuntxyz34627 жыл бұрын
You would think this is a good idea, but as far as I know profits off of rent are pretty small, and its gonna take you decades to just make the money back, that doesn't even account for you having to do upkeep on the properties and dealing with non paying clients. Investing is the way to go for good profit with little work.

You're the only one who knows what's up. For everyone else, you need to realize the ROI on Property completely depends on the situation area you're going to invest in. If you're looking to make big bucks with a huge return on investment, then the property prices in that particular area has to rise exponentially. Rental income usually barely covers upkeep, maintenance and taxes. If you're buying property, you're never looking at profit off the rent unless we're looking at commercial spaces. Property also locks down your investment into a physical space and makes it hard for you do change your strategy. Assuming you made a bad investment in a particular property, there's very little you can do about it, and you still have to pay taxes and do maintenance on that property, turning it into a money sink. Property investments are not as straight forward as people think it is.

Like Kevin said-Say you have after you pay your 50%tax on your winnings- Say you have $4oo. Million Left. You put it in BANKS ( Insured to $250,000 each bank) (at least 3 banks) Then: 50% in BONDS. 50% STOCKSIf you just did BONDS ==Get AAA BONDS(the highest you can get- -that makes about 4% interrest== that makes about AFTER TAXES== $166,000. A MONTHOR : $1,400,000 A YR This is what Kevin said to do (I saw on another video) I would NEVER advertise a big win (if I'd ever win) !!! My mother & step dad died in 2010 & my step sister & sister & their 'crews' came -changed the 'wills' & took everything not nailed down! If I'd ever won big- I'd lay low & be very careful with the money. Pay bills, buy a car & modest house - give some eventually to my church. What I would do for fun would be to rent some super fancy mansion for a month. Get 'props' like Christmas stuff different seasons stuff- changes in clothes ect & have expert pics taken ect ( this would be just for fun) THEN send those pics to my so called 'relitives'! Let em drool! Of course I would have legally changed my name & they would have no clue as to where I'd really live. This will probably never happen but would be fun to try to pull off. Anyone else might do this?

To Martin Whitley== I took care of my mom & step dad for 17 yrs. No help from step sister/ blood sister & their 'crews'.They changed the 'Wills' & pretty much left me homeless!!! If I'd ever won 'big' I'd be very carefull with the $ & do what Shark Kiven said!!!I'd get out of my shitty apt & buy a modest home & car, pay bills ect- I would also share some with my church. My so called blood sister/step sister & their crews could rot in hell for all I care!! I haven't won that kind of money & probably never will but I'll keep trying to from time to time. So you've won some money- congrats!But if not careful easy come- easy go!Everyone will be your best 'friend' till the money is gone. Hope you don't have to learn the hard way! (Or maybe you already have learned the hard way) If you want to help the 'family' out (& U have a loving family) help yourself first! Invest the money like Kevin said - THEN take a certain percentage of your 'INTEREST' $ & use THAT to help out the family. That way you always have money coming in. But you cursed me & others who tried to warn you about how fast people can take your money so you were warned.

Depending on the age you are when you win it and how much you intend to leave to others when you pass on, it might just be smartest to put it in a bank and then plan to spend it entirely within your lifetime with a little cushion built in. As the sharks have hinted, you are the last person in the world that needs fancy financial advice. As for inflation meaning that a million bucks in 20 years will be worth less than it is now, I wouldn't worry about that as I imagine most of the things you want to buy and experience will be more fun to do when you are younger. By the time you get to that age you will probably be content with a more relaxed lifestyle and your outgoings will be significantly less than when you first started out.
