They gained significant exposure during their Shark Tank appearance in 2020, after striking a deal in the hallway with Lori and Rohan for $500,000 at 20%. Annual revenue of 2 million a year later is 1/2 million dollars less than the valuation they were offered. Logistic prices have skyrocketed which explains the reprice of $14.95 vs $10 / knife. Too bad it didn’t go through, it was an excellent offer. It’ll be interesting to see how this company scales going forward; and if they’re able to turn $2 million into 10-20 million. They actually got a lower valuation by giving up 20% for 500k when asking for 15% at 400k, but still a good deal to get the support of 2 people.

@@takeit1229 They probably expected a counter offer of 25%, and when it was only 20%, they thought, "eh what the hell, why not."

It's so entertaining to watch the Sharks get upset or insulted when their proposal isn't accepted immediately after their offer, or if the presenters are simply waiting for a better offer or waiting to see what Mark offers.

These guys set the tone and were in control from the beginning. He said we are "offering opportunity" suggesting that they didn't come here to beg. And the Sharks basically fell into their frame the whole way through, except Mark lol.

Well, they already have sucessfull brand, so they are there to promote their new business and want to reach more people with the help of shark, the money was no issue, but the exposure is they want. Because everything is ready, just need the little push to get going

That bid was probably the most full and encompassing experience the viewer can see from the sharks competitive experience to an alrdy established business man. Well-done on both sides
