I have always wanted to see what a properly built 305 with a turbocharger can do. Besides, without forced induction and a bore, stroke, and all forged high compression pistons and rods, main studs, head studs, big cam, aluminum heads, and supporting mods the 305 will NEVER make impressive power. They weren't manufactured to be a powerful engine, they were manufactured for fuel mileage, reliability, and efficiency. Even the L03 TBI 305 engine was a turd for horsepower. 170 HP and 255 lb ft of torque is nothing. I would still like to see a fully built high horsepower turbocharged 305 with MPFI or Holley fuel injected throttle bodies.

@Brock_Landers My local dirt track use to have a pure stock class and the majority of those guys were running Camaro/Firebird's and G-Bodies and they were quick, wish I knew what they had done to them but they dropped the class and replaced it with the 4cyl mini stocks
