We've known that the Husqvarna brand of motorcycles was coming to India for a long time. It was at India Bike Week that we got the first confirmations, that the 390s would come later and that KTM India was planning to start the Husqvarna experience here with the 250s. And now we get to ride them! On the face of it, the Svartpilen (Black Arrow) and Vitpilen (White Arrow) are cosmetic versions of the KTM 250 Duke. And before you scoff, that's both our top 250-class favourite as well as the most well-rounded of the Duke line of motorcycles. 4:28 I always thought(felt) that my Husky Svartpilen was more softly sprung & comfortable on bad roads than the Duke, maybe it's because I'm comparing it to my other bike, R15 V3 as well.. I'm happy with the bike, only issues are the tall seat & small tank for me..Got the bike for light off road & touring & it does it pretty well.. 8:04 that's some award winning voice there..

Bajaj is doing a good job at marketing the same motorcycle under 3 different brands and convincing consumers that they are all different. Dominar is somehow a power "cruiser" despite having a very similar high tolerance motor from the Duke with not much refinement. A slower, cheaper and therefore heavier and significantly different looking Duke is basically a dominar. The Husqvarna is just a redesigned Duke. A+ for marketing skills. And an A+ for these journalists for going by the narrative set by these companies.

Fun review of the quarter litre Husqvarna twins. I concur with Shumi that the 401s ought to have been launched first. The adrenaline rush emanating from the KTM 373 cc LC4 engine is unlike any other. They are a bit less practical than the competition in my opinion and on top of that you don't want all that unwanted attention that you might get when you leave your bike unsupervised at a parking lot or something like that.

Dude 250 is the right one for streets as well as highway...you telling to bring 401 ..most people go for bikes below 2 lakh... I believe husky nailed it..As a short raider I will always prever a sleek design rather than bulky one.. next to MT, husky became the best in that segment.

I was pretty impressed with the specs and the design then but now I am not that excited about it. I feel that the Enfield 650 twins are better choice though they are bit expensive. But I could be wrong.

Both the Huskies are clearly targeted at a young audience who would use it for daily commute and the occasional solo road trips. The 650 twins are far over powered for that application, heavy and expensive as well. Even the Duke 390 doesn't fit that bill. There's a reason why are they priced lower than the Duke 250.

@@aaassaeer I know...but look at the twin....you can definitely use the interceptor as a daily motorcycle. Also they are are very refined when it comes to engine and excellent when you want to drive on highway. Also better top speed and that lovely parallel twin engine. Also they have linear power delivery so people don't have to worry about that. Also on the Huskies the instrument cluster is so small... I mean Duke 200 gets bigger.

3:26 You forgot the main fact the D250 is nothing but D390 but with a different Engine head, Crank Assembly and Cylinder/Piston Block and rest all components are 100% same except for the LCD Speedo.

Coming over from the Apache 2012 I felt the vibration were far less, and owning it for 2 weeks now the bike is settling down and the vibrations have gone down further..Pretty sure the first service will make it perfect..(Anyway a little buzz in a bike is a must to me)

They are already building it in Thailand and it doesn't make monetary sense for them to build it in two locations. Thailand is a more lucrative market for the 300 I think and hence it's built there and not here. Unfortunate, yes, but that's just economics playing foul.

Powerdrift please cross verify with mileage which you said is not practical(as you said tested by zigwheels 32.44kmpl in city & 30.97kmpl on highway). I thing the overall review is not like the Powerdrift way i.e.,doesn't met my expectations. You might be in a hurry completing the video missing things which were present previously are 1.drama or cinematic/entertaining way(like the Duke 390 review) 2. No stunts love those wheelie reviews. 3. This design is much better than KTM. But the design shots which made on KTM reviews are better(missing smoke effects and cinematography skills which you use to be there) I personally think this design deserves a better job. 4. The specs numbers are mismatching. 5. Camera effects and video shots are not satisfying Whatever it might be still we love your reviews & waiting for them from ages.

Feedback noted. But the numbers are *correct*. I think the Coronavirus has cleared the roads of traffic and the usual interruptions in riding that lower the city economy below highway doesn't exist anymore. This is not the first motorcycle during the covid phase that we have tested with higher city figures

@@shu_mar it's annoying to say that some factors are missing like new brand crowd attention is much high to this vehicle but not mentioned. Clearing some new brand trust doubts about service and quality. I agree with the reason for mileage figures but it's not that convincing. Autocar,motorbeam also reviewed in COVID situations only but the figures are satisfying/convincing with them(noticeable thing is three of you uploaded video at same time). Agree with the mileage point but don't try to manipulate.✌🏻

I am looking for a good cafe racer to be in india. Was looking at the RE GT 650. But the bike is just having some more power and no upto date systems like LED for example. I currently own a Dominar 400. Also don't wanna downgrade in terms of power to a 250. Was hoping for atleast the 401s or even the Vitplilen 701s to come into the fray.
