Bring them both out for a day of bashing. Guys there's no trading now. The bash fest is on !! I just received the Maximus and went through it. The differential were ok for RTR, it was lacking grease for the crown gears. (nothing different from any other RTR vehicle). And I shimmed everything, to make it more durable. Don't know why manufacturers all skimp on grease. (It's so cheap). I'm sure the ZD racing is the same. Should be a good time. You guys always have RC-FUN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey folks to keep any R/C tires from ballooning just wrap some fishing line around the outside of the tires do one wrap around inside of the tire and wrap the outside of the tires. It works plus fishing line is invisible, again thank you from your friend william from NJ Forgettaboutit, ha ha

Awesome truck! Playing it safe until the bashing video is smart. Don’t want to break anything just yet. Grab a couple of skate board ramps to the parking lot you're at, the grass looks thick enough to soak up landing and it should be easy to line up, just a suggestion. Cheers

These trucks need a longer wheelie bar on the back to stop it flipping. If you designed a wheelie bar that's longer with a better wheel and a spring action that slightly pushes down aswell to keep the front down better . A adjustable spring wheelie bar so you can set it up for speed runs or wheelie and stunts.

I bought the Redcat Landslide Xte 1/8th scale & the reason I'm bringing that up the tires ballooned until I tuned the center diff with a heavy weight diff oil & it fixed the problem with the ballooning. I definitely needed the $ 25 integy wheelie bar 🤗 I added. You guys got me into crawlers & waiting on my Redcat crawler like yours I ordered yesterday 🙌to arrive. I got the blue one like Abby's ( excited to get ) yeah . Always a awesome vid thanks 😃💯💕Salute 😎✊

There are breather holes drilled in the inside of the rim. Put some tape over them and see if it goes any faster.

Great video guys love the truck. Nate your right to keep the maximus. For some reason it comes with a small pinion but just switch to like a 15 tooth pinion and it will easily hit the 50mph its supposed to and really wakes it up. Have fun!

i bet some new diff fluid and the truck would be much better. From what I saw the front is diffing out and putting most of the power to the front wheels. Some new oil would make a huge difference.

Tell me if im wrong but as those big tires expand don't they reduce the speed as well because of the extra suface area the tire has created,I think if I just wanted speed I would look for a much more rigid tire, I have a feeling I just realized what is obvius to everyone else haha duuu franks and beans...

Fun truck and nice vid. Nah, the unloaded tyre is NOT overdriven 2:1, it just overspeeds as everything is allowed to free rev. Internal diff bevel gears are the same size = 1:1. Easily reduced by adding thicker oil to the front and/or centre diff.
