Definitely this type of jumping will reveal build quality weaknesses in the vehicle. All in all the Pirates 3 showed it's a good choice for high-impact ground hits.

It's all about value. Just because something is cheap does not mean it is a good value. To the Saylors this ramp is a good value. Their time is valuable. They can make a video or a ramp. I choose the video. They will also use this ramp a LOT, which I'm sure we'll enjoy!

I enjoy your videos and especially appreciate your insight into camera drones. I'm hoping to have the opportunity for purchasing one by next summer. As for the ramp, if people think that it is too expensive, hey, you have a choice to make a decision on whether or not you want to buy it. Nobody is putting a gun to your head and forcing you to buy it. As for me, if I was wanting to do jumping and flipping, I would definitely buy something that is quality. Jumping rc is fun, myself i am addictive to it since my first rc jump, also you can really, really test the durability of an rc car/truck, usually the weaker part(s) will broken or damage with in 1 to 3 full lipo run on a rc car/truck. Maybe now the rc saylor family can do test jump everytime after they finish each rc car/truck run and review, so we can see how durable each rc car is. 😄

I'm enjoying the videos (usually do) Counting the causalities is fun for a start (1 dead and 2 wounded so far) As far as the rest of the criticism goes. The ramp allows you to do what both you and a lot of your viewers want to do with your trucks. It's not cheap but it is of good quality and design. You have to pay for those

@@Luis-ic3bm That depends on the battery chemistry, number of cells and mAh (milliamp hours, - the capacity of the battery). As I don't know if it comes with a battery (or what size it is for that matter) I can't really help. Most good quality batteries will tell you what the maximum charge rate is but I prefer to change them at 1C. Learningrc.com has some helpful pages on battery safety. To charge a 3s LiPo from 3.85V (storage voltage) takes about one hour.

How long it will last depends how you drive it. If you drive it at 100% throttle the battery will run out faster than at 50%.
