Shiva is associated with nothing "the space between the space" "the tranquil state" where as Shakthi his consort is power energy activity so its something out of nothing and they are incomplete without each other. Shiva is also associated with kala "time". Its not death but the timeless witnessing the time passing by and time conquers all. If Shiva and Shakthi are the fabric of the material matrix universe the Vishnu is the Jarvis the intelligent interface to the matrix sort of matrix keeper and he is aided by Brahma the app builder in the matrix. Shiva is worshipped as natraja or the lord of dance in his cosmic form and symmetrical patterns seen when he dances with ankle bells jingling blissfully on his feet... Tandava is the dance which has two types... Rudra:- the angry one... and Ananda:- the joyful one... Depending on his mood 😅.. moreover a lot of information stated in this video is either incomplete or incorrect... Shiva never incarnated as tortoise it was lord Vishnu in his second incarnation... The venom he drank stayed in his throat as the worried paarvati (his consort) stopped it from entering his body by placing her hand. Hence he became neelkantha... The one with blue throat... Further the Cresent moon on his head with tied matted hairs Is his ornament that decorates his hairs... It is actually a mistranslation that many do. The sanskrit word 'laya' or 'layam' doesn't mean destruction. It means merging with something. It can also mean ceasing to exist. And when the suffix 'pra' is added it connotes a positive aspect to the word. Now there are various scales of 'laya'. Sleeping is also called a mini 'layam' where your consciousness ceases to exist but your subconciousness still exists. So can we call it destruction?. Without sleep or the temperory laya, our body will not be able to function properly. Similarly when "Maha Pralayam" happens the universe isn't destroyed, it just ceases to exist as we know and merges with the lord. Then it comes back as creation/new birth, rejuvenated. So Lord Shiva isn't a destroyer as is wrongly translated. And also do note that sanatana dharma through vedas and Lord Krishna in Gita clearly say that the soul is never destroyed. In the cycle of birth and death the souls/beings become so entangled with the material world that they forget their true self. When a kid keeps on playing even when it is well past his bed time the parent forcefully makes them to sleep, for without proper sleep the kid will suffer. Similarly when the beings get so entangled in material world to realise their true self and keep moving in birth-death-birth cycle, God, being the supreme soul, forcefully merges all the beings/souls with him/her. This is called "Maha Pralayam". So this isn't destruction, its just the universe ceasing to exist in a materialistic and conscious realm. After sometime the creation begins again. So SruShti-stithi-laya is just like waking up (srushti), going on with our works (stithi) and then going back to sleep (laya). At a human level sleeping isn't destruction of the conscious so is laya not a destruction of the world. Its just a much needed resting place.

Life span of Brahma is 100 years. 1 day of Brahma = 14 Kalpas 1 Kalpa = 14 Manvantars 1 Manvantar = 71 cycles 4 yugas(i.e 71 cycles of Mahayugs) . Lord Rama was Born in the Treta Yug of 7th Manvantar's 24th Mahayug cycle. Krishna was born in dwapar yug of this manvantar i.e, 7th Manvantar's 28th Mahayug cycle.. . Brahma lives for 100 Years. This is his hundred years. In human years it's about 3.2 trillion human years. We're currently at the afternoon of the 1st day of the 51st year of Brahma, meaning around 1.6 trillion years have passed for this creation. When the night of Brahma comes he'll destroy his creations and remake them the next day. And 100 years of Brahma = 1 breath of Lord Vishnu.

In Shiva Puran, there is nowhere that it says that's how Shiva was born. The story was absolutely twisted around. What it explains is the establishment of SHIVLING. Shiva is eternal. In the narration, its explained how Brahma lies to Vishnu suggesting that he found the beginning, and Vishnu has to pay obeisance to Brahma despite him lying. Seeing this, Shiva transforms out of the pillar to create Bhairava, who cuts off the fifth head of Brahma and curses that he will not be worshipped. He says Vishnu is his equal and shall be worshipped alongside him. The point isn't about who is greater, in the end they are all Brahmana, but would be nice if we don't change the narratives.

Westerners wrongly understood destroying. This is dissolution. 5 elements are the cause of the universe, and Shiva makes the dissolution of the universe and the universe ultimately merges in him and he recreates or rejuvenates as a time concept. It is not a bombardment. do not read the shiva puranam in literal meaning but spiritual meaning.
