Great vids! Can I ask, I’m having issues with buffering. I don’t think it’s internet connection. It does it on Amazon firecube especially when recording. And playback can be pretty jumpy too. Just wondering if this powerful box might help? I bought a T95 4gb 64gb and still have issues. Just wanted advise on a good box for streaming and recording. Not worried about anything else. I have H96 Max+ RK 3398 and on the fence with upgrading to another android TV box or just a 2nd hand Thin Client from Dell/HP...costs the same here in Asia but upgradeable RAM/SSD parts. Noticed I've been upgrading TV boxes every 3 yrs. Mine runs hot from the get go, so I hope their new ones have better thermals.

What I and everyone else would like to see is the version of play store. I noticed with these Chinese boxes is that the play store isn't up to date and can't be updated. Sometimes even Google chrome can't be updated.

I just got this yesterday. I got the 8g 64g unit. I paid 99.00 on amazon and now I'm thinking I got ripped off. The remote is a dog. I put on one of my 2.4ghz remotes with keyboard and it was much better. it's a lot faster than most units I have tried.

@@aravindia I know this one is an AK but whether it plays those in full hd...not sure. You can always get one on Amazon and try it out. It's got a free return. The 1st hint I can give you is once you get it set up and in the menu you need to turn the remote from infrared to Bluetooth. It States that on the back of the remote. It's much better when it's on Bluetooth.

I currently am using several android boxes throughout my house. But I'm having a strange problem with a couple of them. One box is in the living room plugged in about two feet from the router. (It's a X96 Max plus). It works perfectly when placed there. I have the identical model wired by Ethernet approximately 80 feet from the router. The strange part is, after about 40 minutes or so, the one in the bedroom resets itself to the home screen. When I switch them, now the one that was close resets, and the one from the bedroom plays perfectly. It never happens with my older Skystream 3 (android 7) or my newer meekool KM6 (android 10, with the S905 X4). Could this be a hidden problem with the S905 X3? I'm totally baffled. It also happens with the X96 AIR.

Is it particularly warm in that location, or is there additional interference from other electronic devices? You may need to change the position of the box, or add an external fan.

If my current box ever breaks down I would definitely get this one or just get this for my brother, he would definitely love it. My current one is a HK1 box 64GB 4GB Ram and before that I had the miracle media box and it had no ventilation and the one before that was the miracle media box old version that didn't have ventilation. Both of those miracle media box stop working on me but the current HK1 Box that I have ventilation.

Maybe spend a bit more time focusing on programming ease. The remote included is really horrible. Using it to program the device was a nightmare. Took two to three times as long as it should have. Received the box today and the remote wouldn’t function at all with my TCL Google TV. Reconnected the box to an old LG and was finally able to get the remote paired with the device using a separate remote and dongle to do so. I ordered a new remote and dongle a few minutes ago. The box does not work well with any of the popular launcher programs. Very frustrating. I’ll live with the default launcher for now. Now that the box is programmed, hopefully the value of this purchase will become apparent. That has not been the case so far.

Rock Chip CPU and DDR3 ram killed it ....The CPU runs hot and you wont see it till box runs a while...to use DDR3 Ram and the cheap slow storage shows their intent to sell sub par boxes....and as usual , in this growing world of streaming, to not have 4K APKS is the final dagger....PASS

8gb RAM ddr3...der Chip bringt nix...Alles chinesische müll...lass die Finger weg davon...bei mir funktioniert nichts richtig...hab die schon zum zweiten Mal zurückgesetzt bringt nichts...die Android Spiele funktionieren nur 10 min..danach wird das Ding heiss..und beschädigt sich ...nach 5 Tage spielen funktioniert nichts mehr.totale abzocke...emuelec lässt sich auch nicht installieren kommt blauer bild..ps2 Emulator aethersx2. Spiele rückeln ist nicht spielbar...da ist meine alte Box Xiaomi sogar besser..hat nur 2 GB RAM ddr3...

The point of a full Android TV box is the flexibility to install your own apks. Allowing you to set up the box exactly how you like with various live tv setups. If you know what your doing then you do not need the 2 most popular apps.
