I'm looking for a new streaming device and was considering a Fire Stick, but then heard that Amazon is going to be changing the OS, which will likely result in more advertising. Scratch that. I recently bought the ugoos box(Now returned). And this looks exactly the same. In fact, the instructions with the ugoos box was from an H96. Is this the chepaer version of Ugoos?

Love the reviews Chigz. Could i ask if you ran the jellyfish demo's from the USB3 port? If so did you connect an external USB drive or did you use a USB stick? The reason i ask is that it looks like it has USB3 and would offer greater bandwidth than using the standard UBS2 port. I was wondering what you used and which port it was plugged into? Also, do you know if the USB ports have a limit? Could i plug a, say, 4TB hard drive into it? Keep up the great work.👍

Hi the only way you would want a shield these days are for gaming as its only got 16gb of space the above box has 50% extra gaming performance at a third of the price, yes it can display Dolby but if you dont have a TV with Dolby Vision your not going to get it at all by having it on a TV box lol

128/8 version and HDR works perfect and the AI is surprisingly better than I thought it would have been i have tested against my shield 2017 and to be honest this h96 max mp runs faster though the remote is very flimsy

no because its based on CPU benchmark of the rockchip chipset , he is not benchmarking ssd speeds or RAM

@@AliMuhammad_PTI benchmarks are usually for CPU and GPU More ram and storage is generally better but doesnt effect performance as much and its never benchmarked in these type of reviews since the memory drives in android boxes are cheap stuff and not to be compared with gaming pcs etc which use nvme or sata drives

Agreed! I don't use netflix or prime, and I don't need Dolby atmos either. So this could be good. Some devices that have 2gb of ram aren't bad, but it's always good to have more. I had a 3gb ram one and it did pretty well especially for 6 years (it recently got damaged in a accident and broke sadly) so this is definitely not bad.

Yes but I dont think its switchable. Google certified simply does not allow rooted devices although 1 or 2 boxes can. lol
