Joe those valves don’t even open until like 2, the way the ball is cut inside it doesn’t start till 2. I have the same valves from jimmy last season and built a new manifold this year cuz those block manifolds everyone uses don’t pull equally. Mine start to open at about 2 so I marked with a sharpie there and then have my other markings from trial and error from there. You can pull the metering valves off very easy with out having to re-seal connections, that way you can turn the dial and find the exact point where they open on the dial board and mark. That will help you greatly.

I'm still perplexed at that driveway situation. I'm always dripping 12.5 on my asphalt driveway and it could sit there for a week and rinse right off.

From what I’ve gathered so far in my journey, the SH pulled the oil out of the fresh black top. When that happens, it can’t be “washed out” cause sadly the damage is already done. That’s the way I have understood it. Fresh black top and fresh concrete always makes me nervous lol.

The x6 looks like it’s fantastic but lacks when the valves aren’t open all the way. I wonder if that can be adjusted by maybe adding a valve that can be remotely opened when you are in rinse mode? I don’t entirely understand it yet but it was def noticeable when you were applying just house wash and rinsing after. Maybe he can come up with something to be able to adjust that remotely to help with at least rinsing? It will be interesting to see what, if anything, changes as he continues to develop it. 🤞

You need a bleeder valve when priming a 12v. Pushing through 200 ft of hose will never prime. Disconnect your long hose from the pump. Turn it on until it pulls. Then reconnect

Also keep an eye out for air leaks...pressurize the entire system starting at the tank side with a garden hose and look for drips...drips can mean air leaks...its called reverse pressure testing.

I wonder how the x-6 with a traditional gun set up with a 18" lance and an x-jet nozzle would work? Maybe that way, you could also use the x-6 to rinse the deck? Wondering if it would have enough pressure to clean after the hot treatment?

I remember that happening on that driveway. You then bought some sprinklers right? Time flies! Also, about how long to get fresh water after killing soap on that X6? My booster takes about 45 minutes between soap and rinse 😂

When the x6 is in bypass does it suck water from the bypass outlet or is that strictly for when the pressure washer is connected and it shoots out water like when your pressure os connected?

The x6 itself works on demand so it shuts off off trigger. By pass comes into play when the pressure washer is coupled with it
