Thanks Joe for taking about using to much soap. I'm guilty on that I use about 4-6oz of Elemonator in my 26 gal tanks and I seem like I spend alot of time rinsing. I will try putting in alot less soap on my next job and see how it goes. I also noticed that u have two 55gal drums on your truck. I just picked two up yesterday and I'm going to swap out my two 26 gal tanks for the two 55gal drums. I spend like 20mins at job refilling the 26 gal tanks so having the 55 gallon drums prefilled before I go to job will get me through any house without having to refill them on the job.

I love your page and despite working a full-time job out of town all week I have been putting together equipment and doing all the studying possible so I can build my own business. I noticed what appears to be stained steps in the area of the patio. I would be paranoid that I would get spots on the steps from treating the nearby patio. Did you have to rinse the steps throughout the process or take any precautionary measures? I want to make sure that when I get started I’m well-versed on how to avoid damage. Thanks. Rich DeWitt I have a similar project on this Friday. I always approach that top to bottom. I would do the roof wash then the siding then the walkways or driveway. Roof washing would trickle onto the siding siding would trickle into the driveway then clean the driveway. If you did it in any other order you would be backtracking and rinsing things more than once

Great and informative video!! Quick question, what brand of injector do you use, I have done a few house washes and I bought a 4500 psi Simpson washer but to have my downstream injector to work I have to lower the psi otherwise it won’t draw the SH, it is a waste of time for me because I have to be lowering the psi until the injector starts to pull the mix, then once I’m done I have to go back to my washer and increase the psi to rinse, it doesn’t seem like a lot of problem but it had happen that while I’m applying the mix the injector stops drawing mix, so I have to go back and lower the psi a little more, it gets annoying, I have a M-I-T downstream injector which is supposed to be pretty good, I’m not sure if the fact that the washer have an injector on the on the pump is the cause of my problem, maybe you could help me with a little advice, thank you!!

I am a novice so please forgive my dumb question here. But with a rig setup like you have, are you still having to pull water from the homeowner's spigot or do you carry enough water on board to rinse with? I watch these videos and have asked other channels this question but never get an answer. Thanks man for any help on this.

When you pretreated the patio how do you keep the overspray from harming the surrounding grass?
@powerfulimprovements
@powerfulimprovements 4 жыл бұрын
Mr. Smith I try to be careful when spraying the capstones not to get too much on the grass and I did not spray the outside of the wall. Within minutes after spraying I was turbo nozzle and the outside of the wall so that water will have saturated the grass. Also I set the expectation with the client before starting the project that some grass might get burned. It’s impossible to kill all organics Without losing a little bit of grass or a leaf on a plant here or there. Just set the expectation.

@powerfulimprovements
@powerfulimprovements 3 жыл бұрын
House wash is typically at 1% sh. And roof is usually between 4-6 depending on growth
@Stein0mite
@Stein0mite 3 жыл бұрын
Also, you risk flash oxidation on vinyl, gutters, etc. with house wash mix (1-2%), it’s best to let it dwell and kill the organic build-up than putting roof mix/flat surface (4-6%). Less probability of burning plants, grass, and damage overall.
