Congrats someone finally noticed my favorite part of this performance the " FURRR Me" so Mori to do that. I love SoHyang watching her is how I found Mori. Truth though??? Morisette sings with a unique magnetism that emotes emotional transferrence like no other singer today. She also adds these cracks and growls that further that emotion. Watch the performance of She Used To be Mine ,it's not on the bus but the way she sings it is the most emotional thing I've ever seen. She is just a nobody here in America man and not ONE American singer can touch her. They don't want THIS SMOKE trust me. This girl has it ALL. Completely baffled she isn't selling million's of records.

So Hyang's version is good but it's recorded and edited a lot, put her 3x in the video to back up her own voice. This was a live performance by Morissette and she sounds way better than So Hyang's MTV like video.

2020 she got tired of people gushing over Dimash, she looked up her wikipedia page, scrolled down to range, read 4 octaves... powered up to her new form nearly 6 octaves...Bb2-D8. Wikipedia was not prepared. I love them both, if you take away the vocal fry and whistles they have the same crazy range and vocal acrobatics. If you add back the whistles she reaches D7 and D8 when she sneezes. Her low notes do not make any sense when compared to most other amazing Sopranos. Dimash and Morissette are going to kill me with a goosebump overdose.

Floor and Mori, Mori and Floor ... those 2 are actually just the most perfect singers / storytellers for me. Different genre maybe, but they both can mostly sing whatever they want and make every song totally their own, and of course have total control over their voice. Oh and next "Resignation", but i really can't decide if i like the version form Asia Song Festival 2018 more (live on big stage, looking totally beautiful) or the new home version from the Covid time that also grew a lot on me the more i saw it. Both are just sooo good for pure emotion she shows there. Also on So Hyangs version (where i directly got some hate from her fans when i mentioned Mori), she is great singer but she never managed to give me the same feelings i got from Mori, there is something in her voice, just like with Floor that gives you the Floorgasms, that makes Mori for me just outstanding.

@stephen kost I loved Mariahs first albums but the last one i bought was Rainbow and after that i stopped following her since when she started to do more and more of this pop hip-hip like crap i had the feeling she also lost a lot of her voice maybe since that stuff just missed out of all the things that i loved in her great ballads from the 90s. But similiar things happen also to a lot of great rockbands, like i really love Yes (RIP Chris Squire 😢) but their last really good Album for me was "Going for the one" from 1977, but in the end they themself also only played their old stuff from 70-78 even on concerts in the 2000s. Or another thing, these japanese metal bands, they are fantastic to view and your jaw drops because how great they are on their instruments, but in the end none of them really gave me the feeling that i wanted to listen to them regulary.

Here tone is superb. She have lots of character to he vocal which really assists in delivering the story of the song. Her delivery is fantastic which really separates Morissette and makes her stand out from her peers. So Hyang is a very good performer too ❤️ but let me ask you between Morissette and So Hyang...! I only like Sohyang when she doesn't belt, the minute she does, I switch to other music videos, I can't stand her very thin voice when she belts, it's hurting my ears, just being honest! Morissette, even in her highest note she sounds so pleasant, plus the fact that she delivers the message of the song 200%, the only singer who can make me cry just listening to her. She always has this power to give a song that she sings so much substance. She turns a song into a story, a movie, and u can't help but get emotionally affected when she sings.

Man, your voice is so deep I think you can sing that song of Josh Turner. So I'm intrigued who was So Yang and looked at her version, yeah she sings good but her diction and pronunciation of English words are below par with how Mori can do also her own rendition is more of a KDrama feel not the operatic feel which the song was and how Mori sings so close also it was pre recorded and even if she was sitting while singing she can't beat Mori whose doing it live and affectionate. So Yangs version feels like me watching an opening or closing ost of a drama.
