I've been wearing HC over the past week, and I'm enjoying it so much more than what I expected from my first spray impressions. When I get ready fire a full bottle, I think I will jump to the elixer semi-blindly. ATH is by far my favorite perfumer.

On average it cost £250 for 125 ml of parfums de marly fragrances so £150 for 50ml for high end performance scents seems about right. The only thing i would say in this market you have to offer a 100ml bottle everyone is apart from byredo some of their scents are £250 for 50ml(tobacco mandarin) so i hope aarons fragrances are worth it as out of curiosity i bought hard candy elixir and supernova

These contain natural Ethical Ambergris so they are not Vegan. Aaron Recommends layering both of them together and they really do synergize their best individual attributes. I wouldn't say you need both but wth buy 10mls of both and find out! He's a great person and it really is an experience when meeting him. Thanks for your content Steven. Always on point!

@@Redolessence Yeah, the Tonkin musk is synthetic, but if a fragrance contains ambergris it's the natural raw material through ethical sourcing. I think only the Elixir contains ambergris so Hard Candy would be Vegan-friendly.

Hard Candy by ATH is a sexy, sweet and dark fragrance. This fragrance is an absolute delight. The combination of vanilla and tonka creates a sweet base, while the mint adds a refreshing and cooling effect that's so pleasant to smell. The oud note in the background adds a touch of depth, making it a sophisticated scent. It's perfect for those who enjoy a blend of sweet and minty freshness with a hint of oudy depth. I know Hard Candy doesn't actually have MDMA, but it sure is addictive like a drug. The house of ATH create excellent fragrances, and I can see why this is one of their most popular. I give this 8/10.

It’s slightly closer to me to jpg elixer but much higher quality. The dry down is phenomenal and get about 10hrs out of it. I have a lot of fragrances but this is in my top 5 for sure..

There might be a slight similarity, but Hard Candy Elixir is sweeter to me and the sweetness is coming from a different source.

To me, this smells like 40/50% like jpg ultra male. Whats different, is the level of gourmand, especially in the dry down. I think the level of lavender and patchouli is much higher in jpg ultra male, what gives it more of this fresh spicy/green kind of a touch. What stands out in hard candy elixir is deffinetly tge quality in the gourmand. In the beginning, you really catch this amazing mint with some citrusses. It almost makes it smell like a good cocktail. Those notes fade away slowly and the vanilla with warmer notes like honey and tonkabean takes them over very smoothly. Now it smells just like the name of the perfume. Like a hard vanilla candy. Man, i forgot the name, but it reminds me of those red/white yoghurt with strawberry candys. Its just amazing. The quality and journey of change in how it smells over time is just worth wearing it already. 10/10
