Thank you for the information Bob. I have an EB70S and an AC200MAX ...but I only have two 200W solar panels, so I need to get more. I absolutely love Bluetti. I always take your advice and that's why I've purchased the ones I have. Thank you again Bob.👍😊

In 6 weeks I'm starting my van build. This has changed my mind about what I was going to do. Now I have to figure where to put it in my build. Thank you for all your awesome videos Bob. 👍👍👍👍👍

looks like a better choice for a minimalist mini-van car/suv buildout than most other units

The big advantage to me is the water and dust proof performance for the type of lifestyle we live. The cost for that alone is worth it.

I have the EB70S, 800 W, with the 200 W folding solar panel. I decided to get the biggest one I could afford, and glad of it, as I have now bought a 12V fridge/freezer. Jon in rural BC, Canada

Very cool! Portable power on the go is always such an important topic! Wow - the concept of connecting them is new to us! How awesome - love that they seem so rugged! Nice option for going out in the van! Keep making memories & adventure on! ~Karen & Shannon WOY

Nice review. I'm using the AC60+B80 to power my Ham radio shack. Great little system. I'll eventually add a second B80.

I’m guessing the benefit of it only being 400w + the 800w + another 800w is it gives you a 2000w battery that I personally could actually pick up and carry (when carried one at a time). This is a super benefit, as all the other high wattage batteries are impossible for me to budge.
@catw6274
@catw6274 Жыл бұрын
That is my concern too. I would prefer to buy the big 2000w one, but if I can't lift it, to go somewhere to charge it, it would be useless. This sounds like a great solution.

The key thing will be the price as you indicated.... hopefully, it won't be too high for the average person. Great unboxing and review!👍

$1200 for 1200Wh. $1 per Wh. Seems expensive to me.

This fits perfectly inside an Ikea KALLAX Shelving unit that would not take up much floor space in a minivan, a perfect option for a no-build/minimal-build setup. This combo would make a great budget build.

From all the materials I've been able to find you can use the B80 to DC charge any of the EB series even if it doesn't have the full quick connect which makes it great for somebody like me who has an Eb3a I'm currently lugging around and additional portable generator the same way as to b80 to finish charging the battery of my ebike

I ran my fridge 11 hours with a 260 wh power station. It’s a egretech plum and I was running test on my Ecoflow fridge. I think this would be perfect to run my fridge and CPAP while camping. I’m a fan of Ecoflow but this is something I’ve always thought they should have done with extra batteries.

Hey Bob, this is a little off Contant, I have a seven sided clam Shelter with all the sides. I just had an epiphany I think I can live in this think about it. I’ll put my solo stove in the middle. I’ll sleep on cots there’s two of us I can put a propane heater in here. It’s totally mobile it can fit on the top of my little car. I think this can work.

Great review Bob. I will check but I think the B80 battery might even work with my AC200P which is great as it is cheaper than the 2,000 watt hour expansion battery. Expanding to 2,800 watt hours makes more sense for my needs than going all the way up to 4,000. PS I bought my Bluetti EB3A and AC200P after watching your reviews on them. Safe travels.

Small correction. The B80 add on battery is 12VDC only, it does not have 120VAC.

I like that the batteries can be charged away from the main unit. In power outage, it would be useful.

Good video as usual Bob! One question though....you say 400 watts is too small to run a 12v compressor fridge? Why? My BougeRv 30 quart only uses 120watts in a 24 hour period....so it could run on a Jackery300 for two days before needing recharged. I have the Bluetti EB150 which is 1500 watts so I have no issues, but I just wondered at your reason for that statement? Am I missing something?

So many people ride e-bikes now while traveling. I would love to know can you charge your bike with it? Approximately how long would it take and how many charges can you get before you have to charge the pack again?
@rizipt
@rizipt Жыл бұрын
Interesting question. It would take the same amount of time as if you had it plugged into a wall socket. The 'how many' depends on the size of the battery on your ebike. In terms of watt hours, multiply the wattage of the ebike charger by recharge time in hours. That's how many Wh of the AC60's battery it would consume. Regardless, that's a great way to extend your ride time.

I have used my BLUETTI EB240 2400Wh/1000W Portable Power Station to charge my Ebike... It charges the bike battery overnight.... And then takes me two daylight days to charge the Bluetti back up to full charge with my solar... I have two hundred watts on the roof of my van and I also have two hundred portable watts of panels...

In Winter when the sun hours are lower would it be possible to use some sort of balloon to lift the solar panels up high enough to catch more rays or enough to make the effort worthwhile? Would there be a problem with running a long power feed down to the battery at ground level? Can the 60 series be used with a higher capacity secondary battery meant for a larger version? Then you're not stuck with a 1200 watt pairing.

I always wonder if you should be leaving space around batteries inside your rig. I see some people piling stuff right up against them or even on top and it always makes me cringe. Having said that, since I do see so many doing it, sans any warnings, can I assume it's okay? Will they overheat, do they off-gas?

I'm wondering if I could connect a B80 to an EB70 using a cable from the cigarette lighter socket of the B80 to the input of the EB70, or is there another special cable for that purpose?
