Honestly, for a beginner, a good strongman programme will do the trick. Just make sure to always (always!) prioritise technique and try to improve on that every time you set foot in a gym. I personally absolutely love Conjugate (Westside) for doing multiple sports because the system is built on variety anyways. Where lots of powerlifters do only the big 3 and some accessories, this has you do all kinds of lifts. This article has some great insight on that www.elitefts.com/education/a-beginners-guide-to-programming-conjugate-for-strongman/ That being said, Conjugate might seem a bit complicated for a beginner (it isn't really but it's more complicated than "do 3 sets of 5 on everything and then go home"). A lot of strongmen also like to have 2 full body gym days (you could do one bench + deadlift and another squat + overhead press day) and an event day on the weekends. Best just google for a beginner strongman programme/routine and get stuck in. But remember: technique!
