PowerMesh Rendering for Texture Painting with Alembic data [Boris FX Mocha Pro]

Very nice! I've been using this workflow in Flame for some time now. It can be a real life (and weekend) saver! I mostly will use a prerendered unwarp mesh and just throw it through Mocha again, setting it to warp with same setup I used to make the mesh stabilize. Sometimes I feel it's just faster to do it this way.

Cool! Can I just export the alembic or texture to photoshop or substance to texture there? Then read that back in as the new textured "read geo"?

Usually we recommend making a bigger shape than necessary and tracking a smaller area within it. This anchors the outer border and negates most problems. You can't use Alembic data in Premiere Pro, but you can do things a slightly different way. Here's an After Effects/Mocha tutorial that can be used better with Premiere.
