You mention you made lotsa changes for that Race Lois. I'm assuming you upped the Compression quite a bit in order to make running C-14 necessary for keeping your Engine from eating a Piston or worse right. Otherwise, with (I haven't bought high-octane Race Fuel in 10 years but, it was almost $15 per Gal then) the Cost of C-14 what it is now, it would be a very expensive add on that would actually slow your Sled down. Maybe it's a good thing you won the $50 eh? I watched the Vid again tho and I'm pretty sure you did make some Compression changes seeing as how your Sled made Keelys look like a Dog!

Hey Louis, why would you run 114 oct in an engine that appears to have a stock head/ compression. with a timing curve and comp ratio designed for pump gas, 114 oct would actually kill off power, unless you actually have changed the comp or ign timing. clarifying engine mods, and fuel characteristics may be an idea for a future episode. not everyone understands detonation, what causes it, and how the quality your fuel can be a major contributer to it, most importantly that you cant pour in 114 octane and magically create 20 horsepower. Im pretty sure I haven't seen such an episode from power modz, however if there is one, I apologize.
