Well, I hope you don't forget to put a top reinforcement bar on the shocks hoop, because all that tension from the shocks will bend the chassis inward. And the brackets for the axle links seems too weaks. YOU GUYS KEEP ON MOVING, EVERYTHING GOES VERY WELL.

This is a great video. Thanks for doing it. You do create very nice welds with your technique and setup. The camera shots of the welding are also very good. TIG welding has an artistic aspect to it. When the helmet goes down all else goes away except the puddle.

You can’t run a steering box with a triangulated four-link front suspension; you’ll have uncorrectable bump steer. You either need to run full hydraulic steering, or run a three-link with a track bar.

When welding near machined parts, especially with MIG anti-spatter spray is your friend. Also when welding near threads its a good idea to thread the piece in before starting... make sure your ground doesn't transfer through the threads.

Maybe knocking some of that rust off before you complete your build might be a good place to start...then a quick stay over at the powder coaters or just about any place that will apply some kind of corrosion resistant material to that chassis.

Awesome video, how’d you make sure the axles were completely square before measuring for control arms? Plumb bobs? I’m assuming that the frame was leveled before any plumb bob was used? How about the axles caster? It’s safe to assume that you positioned the axles at the optimum position first? I’d love to do a build and am in the metal trades, you are all awesome! I’m curious if you got sunburns from welding without sleeves?

Altering the wheelbase effects the engineered steering Ackerman, unless you adjust the width accordingly, or alter the steering knuckles.

First time I've seen this particular video series. I really enjoy this type of creative fabrication. But where can I get access to a shop with a plasma cutter? To buy and build a simple shop with equipment like they have would probably cost more than my entire house. Seriously, I wish someone would do a video on how to economically build and equip such a shop, not just how to do projects in a completed shop.
