Honda undoubtedly produces better and proven machines than RE but copying other's design is the least thing which a buyer would expect. They could've brought innovation in design like highness and CB350 RS. Their desperation for capturing classic 350 market is clearly visible but it doesn't go like that because availability and after sales service is still a big question. I hope Honda improve it's network which will help buyers to choose their perfect ride.

If you haven't noticed CB350 has single chassis whereas Classic has twin... Chassis also plays a vital role in vibration control and stability at high speed > 60

The re's double cradle chassis helps reducing the vibration. Before J series engine they also had single cradle chassis. Honda's engine is already refined so it doesn't need that. Although double cradle chassis looks good

Cb350 is a lengthier bike with longest wheel base in this segment now. Moreover its proven engine is next level. RE classic engine stands nowhere near to the performance of a honda refined engine.

People buy this vintage designed bike just for ROYAL ENFIELD branding. Otherwise there are enormous options for feature rich bikes in the market in this price range. Features can only be compromised if you get the class of Royal Enfield. While buying Honda, Yamaha or Bajaj, the features like peri meter frame, tacho meter, wider tyres, more BHP, high speed stability and better handling are always needed. And cb 350 is not among those feature rich bikes.
