Control valve will try to maintain 1 kg/cm2 pressure ,if anyhow pressure is increased more than 1 kg than PRV will try to control 1 kg pressure by gradually open /close.

Very nice explain and informative video's keep it up. But during hydro test of Boiler normal water is used to increase the pressure if it is non compressible then how pressure increases up to required pressure setting to testing purposes. Please confirm my doubt. Thank you very much

As soon as the machine is synchronised with the grid, due to Lenz Law of Electromagnetic Induction, the machine experiences an reverse torque which tends to reduce the required speed to maintain the grid frequency. And so the set point speed is slightly kept higher than working speed so that necessary processes can be executed by the turbine Governor-actuator for opening of valve for flowing of higher amount of steam/water, thereby increases the input to turbine ,to maintain the required speed and frequency. For psv ...if reset point is 62 and WP is 65 then psv will never reset.. WP should be less than 62 . Or else valves will be hunting continue

reset point protection comes in service only when the psv operates....means when pressure values crosses 70 psv will open and it will remain open till the system pressure drops to 62..once pressure drop 62 psv will shut and system again regain its original pressure 65
