Powerplay Instinct Demo

Powerplay Instinct Demo today and it's my first e-bike ride on an actual mountain biking trail. I've ridden one around a shop for a minute, so I knew this would be special. But really I had no idea how much this Powerplay Instinct from Rocky Mountain was about to change my perspective. And can an ebike jump? Will it feel heavy and unwieldy? This first ride was on Levitate trail in Corner Canyon during a Rocky Mountain demo day.

I was smiling all through this video. I try to explain how fun ebikes are to people but until you get to ride them you really can't understand it. I love them for the fast techy stuff as well. Great video brother and I hope to see you get one so you can join us on some of our ebike adventures.

I met you a couple of months ago at Eagle Mountain on my Specialized Kenevo, and you'd said you haven't tried an EMTB yet. Glad you got a chance to discover what awesomeness is!! So fun, even UPHILL! I’ve had an Orbea rise for a couple months and love it. The only reason i still have my normal bike is for deer valley and the crest shuttle. Ebike is way more fun and I’m not a racer, so fun is really what it’s all about

I love my regular enduro bike. I even like those long climbing days (had one yesterday). But i do wish I had an ebike so i could explore and just ride super far. Lap jump trails,and ride uphill super fast. They are so fun.

I use my specialized E only for training for my Hightower and dh YT. It adds an element of fun. I’ve noticed I turn everything off on still ride it with fun. Awesome video! Will be out there soon.

Love my 22 levo pro. I went to buy a stump jumper, they told me to rent a levo and the rental would go towards whatever bike I purchased. It was so fun, I had to have one. By the way it jumps great.

Awesome! I am so impressed at how they have managed that weight. That was my biggest concern when e-bikes started catching on, but it's totally not a problem.

I thought you were going downhill until you said it was uphill. I was trying to guess what downhill trail you were riding 🤣. How did it feel going down hill with the extra weight? Did you go faster?

Yea, it's so fun up and down. Added weight isn't a problem. They did a great job.

@@RideLabs I was asked on my ride today if and when I would get an ebike? I believe I will eventually? They look like so much fun! I love the idea of being able to see more trail in the same amount of time. One of my biggest fears is I won't ride my current bike anymore🤣

I'm debating buying one of these. I've heard that the motors overheat? Is this a common issue?

Amazing bike. I've never heard about overheating before. I'll ask Mike at our local shop if he has. Amazing warranty though. I've tested that out hsha.
