Iv'e followed the step in this tutorial using a custom shape (SVG file) but the image placeholder always ends up just a square. Any thoughts?

To edit the picture, there is a faster way: click on the pic -> click crop -> resize or reposition the image to your heart's content :>

if you use a font to create a placeholder & then share the presentation with someone else, do they have to have the font downloaded as well? Or does it not matter since the font letter has become a vector once it's a placeholder?

Hi Cait, you don't need the original font once the design is vectorized. The best thing to do is save it in the slide master so its easier to work with. I always use free for commercial use fonts for things like this, just in case.

Some people tell me I speak too fast, some too slow. The best thing to do is adjust the playback speed to your liking, this should help. Thanks for the feedback.
