At the time of the game's launch there are 182 characters. All can be purchased in the in-game shop after reaching Player Level 20. Purchasing a character also unlocks all its variants. Goku (Mini) is the only one that can't be bought in-game, he is pre-order DLC.

@@codysvlogdays Really good game; the atmosphere is perfect. The enemies are well-designed, clearly showing the influence of Masahiro Ito. The audio is outstanding, with Akira Yamaoka's touch evident throughout, like in the Abstract Daddy boss where you can hear bed squeaking noises. The acting is excellent-Angela is shy and nervous, Eddie is gross and creepy, and Mary embodies the femme fatale archetype. The puzzles are well-executed too. They've created a nearly perfect remake, but you can't expect more than what the original game offered. You'll be playing the same game with a little more content or different ways to complete it. However, it's not quite at the level of the RE2 remake.

In one character slot that is, apparently without counting transformations and certain forms both Budokai Tenkaichi 3 and Sparking Zero have 81 characters. Sparking Zero looks bloated because of its horrible character selection screen.

I think the rest of Universe 6 and the Tournament of Power of Dragonball Super some of them will be dlcs as well as the rest of GT,Classic and the Majin Boo Saga characters along with the henchmen and helpers of the characters from the Z movies and also add more story mode characters to play alongside the villains the story of some of them and more what if episodes and new scenarios It would be interesting to see for sure all of this will come in dlcs like and Bye l!

Yeah this isn't budokai tenkaichi 4 at all, this is xenoverse 2 with 30 more gokus and 30 more vegetas. And it's 1v1 not like xenoverse. I'm glad i didn't pre-order with this attempt to get the budokai tenkaichi fans back cash grab.
