Oh my gosh. This is the scariest and coolest what-if scenario ever. I’ve always pondered how strong Zamasu would’ve been if he took over the body of a “potential man” like Gohan or Broly, with his godly soul and ability to exploit Zenkai boosts which allowed him to become strong enough to not even require his Super Saiyan Rosé form in most fights in Goku’s body. If he took over Gohan’s body, he easily could’ve become a God of Destruction level threat. And Gohan’s VA did a great job voicing Gohan Black, props to him.

I'm very glad that they listened to what the fans have been wanting to see happen. There was a couple of videos for the past 8 years, about what if the villain had been Gohan Black, instead of why we got in Dragon Ball Super. This is exactly what should have happened in Dragon Ball Super, when the Future Trunks saga premiered during 2016. After the saga ended that November, the fans that the villain should have been Gohan Black. I think we all agree that Future Trunks would've had a much more difficult time trying to fight against his old master and best friend. I'll never understand why Gohan didn't go with Future Trunks, Goku and Vegeta to help them take down Goku Black. I hope to see a story that tells us "What if Cell joined the TOP?".

Ultimate has been SSB level since the ToP in canon, here in the game after defeating Freeza he trains more and defeats Hit when Goku originally needed KK and then he fights toe to toe with fused Zamasu so it makes sense

Agreed. Ngl, the Future Trunks Saga was one of my favorite in the anime adaptions & Zamasu was a very well written character. However this arc also had scripts that were poorly written, mainly Goku forgetting the Sealing Container at Home despite learning the Mafuba or Trunks learning the Mafuba in only minutes by merely watching a video tape which made no sense.

@@soralight_x in the manga, Goku didn't forget the seal and also learned the Mafuba himself, but took by mistake a "ladies" discount coupon of Roshi. Also, Trunks was a Kaioshin apprentice, having learned from Kibito (Shin died fighting Dabura and Babidi), so he could heal the team of Vegeta and Gokú.

Goku also uses the SSG form on Champa's tournament during his fight with Hit who was much weaker than in the anime adaption. When Goku uses UI for the first time in Power Tournament his clothes are in tack & fights evenly match with Jiren but completely overwhelms during during MUI until he reverts back to normal & the tournament ends with 17 being the last man standing as in anime.

Honestly it makes more sense for Zamasu to target Gohan rather than Goku. Goku is a fight happy fool who surpassed the Gods in strength, but Gohan is a mortal that can keep up with said fool while not training nearly as much and with basically limitless potential by comparison.
