I really wasn't planning on making another review so soon but Nightdive Studios really just dropped this out of nowhere lol.

Rather than the linear shooters like Doom, Quake, or Blood; PowerSlave with the Sega Saturn and PS1 ports as well as the Nightdive Remastered PowerSlave Exhumed are more Metroidvania in the vibes of the original two Turok games as well and the Metroid Prime franchise with revisiting maps to get to places you couldn't have gone to first entering the stages without picking up certain items you'd find in later stages. PowerSlave for the Sega Saturn and PS1 was clearly Metroid Prime before Metroid Prime existed. I unlocked all achievements in PowerSlave Exhumed nearly a week prior to writing this comment and it was a thrilling and frustrating ride of a virtual adventure in it's own! It's my 26th and newest game on my Steam library to set foot on my Perfect Games list. Nice video btw!

The second I saw the thumbnail, I immediately thought “DID IRON MAIDEN MAKE ANOTHER GAME THAT I DIDN’T KNOW ABOUT?!”

Oh man you just reminded me of Ed Hunter. I had plans to actually go over that game but I've heard it's a nightmare to get it up and running on modern systems. It doesn't help that no matter how hard I look, I really just can't find a single tutorial on how to set the game up.

Yeah Abandonware is what I was looking at, again tho couldn't find any bit of documentation telling me how to set it up on Windows 10. About the only thing I gathered was downloading a VM and having it run 95 but even then I've heard it still runs like shit.
