I like the setup, how much is boot only? what would be best sneaker hummm sketchers? Used to have the removable Rollerblade Metroblade think it was called had its own custom sneakers that worked in it well. skated allover the place in them NYC Boston Osaka Kobe

Hi. Did you install the off-road wheels on the Powerslide yourself, or did you buy them already attached to the boot? How does it work? I can't seem to find a seller. Can you give me some tips?

Hey, try to find the footwraps from the Xsjado skates. Doop is a simplified model of xsjado which are no longer sold😢

Now I was thinking about getting the 2 wheel 150mm ones. My big problem is I don't see any brakes. Now I'm a big street rider we do have a lot of bike lanes off the street so I don't really need to worry about cars on nominal rollerblades. I would just use these one on gravel tails. Do you find that they just don't go fast enough for brakes or is there brakes that I cant see?

sadely i like brakes too

What specific model is this skate? I'm looking into potentially buying this exact model but it looks like the combination of a doop boot + the trinity renegade 125 frame. Your video was really helpful though!

You have it exactly right. It was originally a 'Doop Swift' boot with a 110 frame that I swapped out for the trinity renegade 125.

@@sevenslacks Awesome, thank you so much! I know this is a weird question, but do you happen to know the measurement of the mounting holes for the skates? I'm thinking of making a custom frame for the doop skeleton boots but I haven't been able to find anything about the dimensions of the holes.

do you think nike dunks or nike blazers would be good? And also those suv wheel, are they difficult on pavement?

Just bought Doop skates and the problem is I don’t have good shoes for it. But in same time this is a good problem cause I will try to find a good shoes and give second chance to this skates. Until it happens I will feel like it’s wasting of money.

Can your wear them with suit shoes? Would be a nice option for commuting. And thanks for mentioning the buckle noise issue, I'm hearing something on Powerslide next and that could be the source.
@sevenslacks3 жыл бұрын
Biggest issue I would see would be sweat. Depending on how hard I go, sometimes my shoes can get drenched. The actual straps seem gentle enough on my shoes that I don't notice any damage from the boot itself, just sweat.
@Alex-kr7zr3 жыл бұрын
@@sevenslacks Well, that sounds acceptable if you have a pair of socks that you can change. In the summer the sweat is going to happen no matter what, but in general with leather shoes I feel that using a wooden insole and bamboo socks help a lot to reduce sweating.

Great review thank you, just a couple of questions What size did you buy them?, and what is your shoe size?,
@sevenslacks3 жыл бұрын
I got the M5-10 size. I'm ~9.5 Mens, fits well. My brother has been able to fit in them as well as a size 11 without much adjustments.

@@sevenslacks I'm between 9-10, I think the M 5-10 should work for me then, thank you very much I was very worried about the size.

@@sevenslacks uh oh! I ordered the big size and I am also US 9.5. The Seller said either shell size will fit this size but hopefully is not too long.

@@DanielVazquez What happened? Fit good? Where did you bought it?

Hi there! You mentioned that thicker soled shoes worsen the performance. How so?
@sevenslacks3 жыл бұрын
Imagine the sole of your shoe is a sponge between your foot and the bottom of your skate. As you put pressure on the inside or outside of the skate, the shifting feeling of the sole creates a really uneasy feeling for your ankles and limits your balance. The thinner the sole is the more direct your force is from your foot to the skate.
