These type of machines do work, but I've never understood what they offer that a set of dumbbells don't ? While there is resistance in the machines, they don't utilize muscles as stability does using free weights.

maybe because you can go heavier on this machine than you would for dumbbells? e.g. bench press and squats?

I have the powertec wb-ms(?), and best benefit is having the ability to vary my routine. It’s no substitute for dumbbells/power rack but it makes every workout a lot more fun and gets me excited to use it

Is there a difference from this leverage machine as from the rogue trolley leverage arms as far as the angle of the arms? I know with this one u can attach stuff and do lat pull downs etc...

interesting but I don't know that cable and overall ....can it handle a 300b squat a 200p row a 200p latpulldowns ? or is this just for the beginnings and once you need to go heavier it is pretty much useless?

I have had one for 15 years now. And yes it can handle the weights you mentioned. It's well built and functional.
