I have been to Ahmedabad for Smart India Hackathon of ISRO SAC and I am impressed by the cleanliness. It is beautiful, especially the Sabarmati riverfront, kakaria lake, science city. There is very less crowd too. People here are good and no language barrier. I did not like the food though as one cannot find any non-veg here. I think if metro expands, it would be more useful. I have stayed in Pune for my job. I think the climate is good, infra is average. We experience high traffic during evening when people return from office. There are good malls and the food is good. I too think people here are little sassy but not everyone. People do not follow traffic rules properly. The city lacks good public transport. The metro route is very limited as it does not connect important location. Many scams also operate from here.

Your fellow Kannadiga here. No modern planning has been able to even reach level of planning done by the maharajaru and Sir MV. That's why you never hear about many issues in older planned areas of Bengaluru such as Jayanagara but the newly developed areas come in the news for all the wrong reasons. Bengaluru is unfortunately one such city which had a very good infra foundation but later subsequent administrations have been incapable of taking it forward.

The Mumbai burden can't be removed from my opinion because it's already so clustered into it. Even if the government makes 2-3 Navi Mumbai it' won't change. People are not leaving Mumbai at all. Navi mumbai has its own IT industry and soon with the airport and JNPT upgrade it will become a transport hub. Navi mumbai also has the best connectivity to every region except ( goa ). What I have seen is if this shit and slow cidco work properly NAVI MUMBAI has way brighter future than any other cities in india but i don't know why every work is so dam slow in Maharashtra
