He plays as an Outside Hitter for Nippon Sport Science University's club, Japan men's national volleyball team and Vero Volley Monza.

Always in awe of this young man's journey to the national team at just the age of 19. He wasn't even called up to any undercategories so this vnl 2021 was his very first intl tourney and did pretty well esp for a rookie. 2 years after, he already became an indispensable member of the team, contributing heavily on both offense and defense.

He and the whole team during this time definitely still looked a little awkward on the court at times. If you compare to now, the difference is incredible. Ran and the team look so in sync now. Like a well oiled machine

basketball was always my sport,never like volleyball because the sport was so boring,tall guys can easily spike the ball to the other side of the net,tall guys can easily block but in 2021 volleyball became my favorite sport when a 19years old, shortest outside hitter 188cm young man from Japan captured our attention with his super high jump fast super spike named Ran Takahashi made us love volleyball, Ran is the first Japanese volleyball player who was able to introduced japanese volleyball to the world, in 2021 Ran made volleyball so famous worldwide with his amazing high jump super spike and fake sets and he is only 188cm but Ran can block the best tallest volleyball players because of Ran i now know the name Yuki Ishikawa,Yuji Nishida, Sekita and because of Ran i now watch the Italian volleyball Seria A and because of Ran i only knew that there are some of the greatest volleyball players in the world ,Ran Takahashi is the reason why i love volleyball now and for me Ran Takahashi will always be the best Japanese player who introduced japanese volleyball to the world ,in his young age Ran is i think the first famous Japanese volleyball player who is able to help achieve his team captain goals ,Yuki said that when he first became a national team members he was not able to help his team captain in achieving his goal, and Yuki said that the growth of Ran is the growth of Japan volleyball ...stay humble Ran,your humble brave heart is a great help to captain Yuki and the men's volleyball national team of Japan ❤❤

Dick riding at its finest 😂 Ran didn’t “introduced Japanese Vball team to the world”, he just contributed to it. Yuki, Yuji, Sekita, Yamamoto, and also Haikyuu, were all contributing factors to Japanese volleyball becoming more popular.
