PowerWash Simulator's Platinum was MENTALLY DRAINING

not looking up a guide or studying the trophy list got me hooked. I personally think following a guide takes away from the experience. I might check the trophies/achievements for about 10 seconds and I might check if difficulty specifics are available, but other than that, I also go in blind. Certainly earned a sub for doing it blind

Agreed, I’ll only check briefly to see if there are any missables but try to avoid it for the most part (unless I get really stuck)

I just play it from time to time and its ok but when i tried 3 levels in 1 day i was sooo fkn trying not to play something else i was mighty bored

Congratz on the platinum.🎉 It started like a fun relaxing game...later it wasn't. Those levels were SO long. Plus I did it in the time when there was glitch and trophy for complere story mode didn't pop. Didn't know when and if it is going to be fixed. Waited almost 2 months. Plus this game crashed all the time. Also this is the ONLY game I have played on PS5 that turned my console off...like completely and it was few times. Never happened and I play a lot of games. But those sound effects when some part was completely cleaned were so satisfying 😅

I didn't mind the Career Mode, I found it very relaxing and I liked the storyline, but the Time Trials are a nightmare and I haven't been able to get one Gold Medal in any of them yet, they are really hard. P.S. I hate it when it crashes as well, did that a couple of times on me too, the Penny Farthing was a late Victorian Bicycle that was popular until the bikes that we know today were invented at around the late 1800's.

I gotta agree on the time trials they are a nightmare. But i can give you a word of advice from someone who already got the Platinum in the game months back: do the water challenges especially on the golf cart and the dirtbike they may seem harder than the time challenges but they actually arent as you can take as much time as possible to do them and then just strategize on the water usage. Also the Bungalow time challenge and van time challenges were the easiest ones to get in my opinion.

I usually try to finish games, hell I just finished GTA V platinum after a 200+ hour grind, but I gave up on this one. It was way too boring for me and I just decided it wasn't worth it

@@scottsworldetmnins3171 all of them are really easy to 100% even the newest one the Shrek Special Pack. All you need to do is finish all the levels and either finish somethings on the levels first or last or do something in the levels. Ofcourse its gonna take many hours but each DLC only has 5 levels in it except SpongeBob which has 6.

​@theplatinumhunter1689 a previous patch caused an issue where not completing a level in one session caused the level appear unfinished to the game, basically locking out the as it was foretold trophy. A patch released with the warhammer dlc fixed it but before that they only known 'fixes' were delete the game entirely, Inc all progress, and redo the entire career mode without installing the patches. Obviously only worked for physical copies. Or for digital, if you were lucky you could delete your save, redo the the career without ever quitting out the game midway through a level and hope and pray the trophy would pop. Neither of these were guaranteed to work though. After my second playthough I gave up and waited for the patch. Was not attempting another 'fix' after 100+ hours in game.
