Fun fact, Venus is Lucifers feminine aspect as the morning star. The "venom" is the knowledge given to Eve. Eve also representing Venus in this song as an aspect of the feminine.

Venus is also the godess of love, wich makes sence with the curse beeing love, starting with eve that made the first man ear the fruit and gave him knowlege of sin. I dont like the use of greek and roman on the part of early christianity its notisable they were trying to relate and coment on the roman culture of the time, one example i remenber is using the term hades when refering to hell, and dante in the divine comedy puting the river styx and charon in hell just like in the greek mithology. It wouldnt be the last time christianity absorbed part of a culture to allow conversion
