I’ve had this grill for 2month so far, cooked and cleaned right after each meal. Nothing is chipped. Make sure you do the prep before use. Preheat to take off factory coating. Only use sponge to clean make sure to use a cooking spray for easy cleaning. Also you take the food out let water soak so it should just wipe off when finished. Works every time for me!

I , myself have learned to cook food in it by how I like it cooked because food like white rice takes only about 20 to 22 minutes. It cooks things fast. And air fried chicken legs or wings takes about 22 to 26 minutes. Fried catfish takes about 4 minutes per side. I love the Powerxl Grill AirFryer combo machine.

It's a cheap non stick coating like you'd find on a cheap frying pan. The parent company is TriStar Products. They also make gadgets for Fiberware and a few other "Name brands". For all intensive purposes, the brand is PowerXL. I'd get a Ninja Foodie over the PowerXL unless the PowerXL has a good deal going on.

I just received my fryer from QVC this has the worst instruction booklet and when you watch the video they do not tell you how to go about cooking whole chicken etc. where can I find a recipe book or cookbook that tell you how to use this fryer correctly. I am very disappointed.

Just got my PowerXL yesterday. Unpacked it and decided to test the oven temperature using an oven thermometer. During first test I set the temp at 350 and after about 10 minutes or so the oven was already up to 425 degrees--not good! I let it cool down and tested it with the oven set at 250 degrees. After about 10 minutes the oven temp was up to 400 degrees when I turned it off. I am VERY disappointed in this product and plan to return it. I should have done research on this prior to buying, I usually do--my bad. I also noticed that they do not do free returns, the customer has to pay shipping to return it. That is also not good customer service. I expect the shipping cost to be pricey. I read several reviews of the product after I received it, sure wished I'd seen these before buying it. It seems apparent that the oven temperature issue happens frequently but the company has not fixed this issue. It can be a safety hazard. I would not recommend anyone purchase this product.

I notice they do not show steak actually cooking. Seen many of these on Ebay refurbished. also some complain the coating flakes off of grill. 2 month warranty speaks volumes of no confidence in it lasting. that is probably how long it takes for coating to flake off grill.

No grill marks But it does cook the meat good not a lot of smell for small place/room. Don’t cook vegetables with meat on grill mode cooks real hot. Keep your eye on the vegetables . Lol

Don't run it through the dishwasher. Anything that's coated in Teflon shouldn't be ran through the dishwasher.
