I agree, I feel there was a massive overpour in the beautiful hole that was in the center of the wood. I think more of the aluminum should have been removed there to show off the wood being the center piece. Even in the final project i feel like that part still looked like a mistake. If the legs of the table were just simply done natural wood I think it would have made more of a statement. The legs took away from the craft and beauty of the originality of it. Truly unique and I’m sure has inspired so many creations for others. Thank you for sharing. Ps. I think you should get a regular mixer for your resin or epoxy. Using scissors leaves a lot more room for error or having debris contamination and then makes and mistakes in your final project. Best luck. Did you soak the wood prior for less burning by chance or would that cause problems, I’m curious. Anyone can answer here and give advice please. Would coating the wood in resin beforehand just melt away or would it help protect the wood more?

Hello from Alabama right on the Chatahoochee river. The table is beautiful. The contrast between the 2 materials was a really good idea. I liked the scissors used to mix. I was curious as to how yall was able to not trap much air inside the resin. The applications are just about limitless arnt they? My Mom made a coffee table and sealed many photos of my family under it. I like how yall think. I do custom work on motorcycles and I'm tying to ge myself established I create custom parts for them. Many one of a kind so im always trying to think outside the box. Im taking an older bike and going to customize it to show even old 80s bike can still turn head and do things that the average person can afford and still have a cool bike. I look forward to see where yall go and what y'all come up with. I hope and wish the best for yall and will send up prayers for yall success and great future
