Does it matter if the top portion of the the piece is cut on a slight curve or can it be straight across from finder to finder.

Will there be a difference in colour between the part with PPF and the other parts? Will polishing make the whole car at same degree of colour?

Hi, thanks for your great video. I’ll be picking up my Model Y next month, and I’m planning to do this myself. Can I put PPF on new car or should I wait for period of time for the new paint to settle? Thanks!

Hi Michael , congrats on the new car! Paint is cured in three weeks so usually by the time you get your vehicle it is cured. Please let us know if you need any kits or tools sent to you cheers. Chris

Can you see lines on the hood if u do partials?
@renosonautofilms8902 жыл бұрын
Hey Ro , if your looking at the vehicle from the front it is almost invisible. If you were say standing at the driver door looking down on the hood you can see the edge of the film. I would always prefer a full coverage option personally, but we are trying to give some less expensive options. Hopefully this gave you the information you needed. Cheers Chris

I recommend everyone if you don’t have enough for the full front, save it’s better. Especially white cars you will eventually see dirty on partial hoods those edges will be noticeable and dirt is going to be collecting in time. I suggest if you don’t enough. Save for a full front is better.

@@sab0024 agreed that full coverage is always nicer , dirt from edges can always be cleaned up with isopropyl alcohol. Cheers Chris
