In this video i explain in detail that which best for you.
Here is everything you need to know about PPF and ceramic coating.
In market lamination / ppf is of bike is done in rs 1500/- approx which is not real PPF a genuine PPF for a bike is done approx rs 15000-20000. Which lasts for 5 years min. PPF also has hydrophobic effect like ceramic coating.
Ppf provides better protection against damage caused by road debris and rock chips when compared with ceramic coating. Ppf has the ability to absorb the damage even before it touches the paint. Unlike ppf , ceramic coating does not have a urethane film to protect the paint, however, it does a great job in providing a glossy finish.
Ceramic coating is a semi permanent layer of protection that can be added or applied to paint, chrome elements, and also plastic trim of your vehicle.
Ceramic coating costs approx rs 5000 for a bike which last upto 2-3 years.
You will be surprise by knowing that only 10-12 ml of ceramic is sufficient for a bike.
Ceramic coating is affordable for a bike like Royal Enfield Meteor 350.
Verdict:
PPF has the ability to protect the paint from rock chips and scratches however, Ceramic coating gives glossiness and will make cleaning the car much easier as it has a hydrophobic nature. They both are good choices however, it all comes down to the convenience of the buyer to make a choice.

This video made me your fan Sir. You honestly told us the truth. Having the metal tank of a bike re-painted in an authorised brand workshop will cost way too less than a good quality PPF or Ceramic coating that needs too much care. Also, original paint will last longer than these PPF or coatings.

I had done ppf to Petrol tank to my Yamaha in 2001 and I am still using this bike and I do see ppf still looking nice after last 22 years. No color related issues. I had paid Rs 300 for tank film. Just FYI

Did you watch the complete video 😃😃😃. Your answer is in the video. PPF is definitely better than ceramic A genuine PPF for a bike costs you approx 15000-20000 and lasts for 7-10 years and ceramic costs you approx 5000. Laminations/ PPF done in 1000-1500 is useless and this dual your bike paint when peal off after one year.
