I feel the pads are quite bad because you can see the pads are lighting up like crazy on the left hand side when he's on the middle of the pad, which might explain him missing at many parts.

I think the pads' lighting is bugged but that's it. It seems like 1P's lighting responds to 2P's sensors and vice versa. I don't think there were other problems on the pads, many Gold and Double S's happened on that machine that day
