they may be good at flying and training, but starting technique is a bit lacking, I'd like to see them with a manual choke up north here, they'd never get them started lol

SWEEEET!! First flight! Must've been great! 👍👍🍻 You've already got me beat, lol - I still have another month or 2 of practicing left, more than likely. Possibly longer, but I hope not! You're making super fast progress! That tandem trike between 13 -14 minutes sounds EXACTLY like mine! Same prop noise, and same exhaust note! That one is like a 1.25 scale of mine ... or mine is .75 scale of that one. No tandem with mine - only 1 seat. I don't have a PPL anyway. Someone probably just primed that machine in the beginning there a little too much with the diaphragm depressed - got a big shot of raw fuel down to the crankcase. Easy to do with giant diaphragm carburetors. No priming needed on my RD350. Full choke and she's off and running in 3 kicks after sitting all winter. One to 2 kicks during the riding season. Now I want to fly!! 😁😎

It's more of a dirt bike engine than a lawnmower engine. Those things RIP when you don't have the wing attached. I've got a smaller, single seat trike - 190 cc 2-stroke with a big expansion chamber on the exhaust. I got up to 40MPH instantly on my street (just a 2 second full throttle burst) ... then remembered I had no brakes as the thing had ZERO rolling resistance, LOL! I almost rolled it my first time in it! I just leaned and made a big 180° on 2 wheels, otherwise I'd have ended up in the woods. Made my neighbor nervous, HAHAHA!

You’re landing gear looks a little light Ivan. James Bond flew a autogyro or a gyrocopter made by Ken Wallace, amazing aircraft. You’ll be flying around, like a big Russian buzzard, before you know it. I own two trikes, one is the first one made, paraplane. Also own a harmening high flyer. Neither one has been up in years. Flying tips, it’s better to be on the ground, wishing you were in the air, then in the air, wishing you were on the ground. You can only have too much gas when you’re on fire! Be careful, altitude is our friend!!

Ivan my final comment on this training and sport. Having been around airplanes, and flown them, for over 35 years, I know what develops as you progress AND GET BORED with the mundane flying. Like in small planes, "straight and level" after a few hundred hours, is totally boring. So, what do we do? We make that little airplane do things, perhaps, that it was not designed to do. PPG? Probably the same. Make it do so things that might get a person into a situation that they cannot get out of. OK, deploy the reserve, right? Then there is the entanglement of the wing and the reserve - then spinning - then hitting the hard earth at a high rate of speed. Then.....hopefully, bodily recovery. At least in an airplane - any airplane - with wings - it will GLIDE. Point is this. I see PPG as a highly suspect form of flying. I know you like it - but we, your fans and friends, are concerned about your safety, and Igor's as well. Thanks. Sorry for meddling.
