Two years have passed since my comment and your training cart is still NOT in the market. The most needed training tool ever.

Brilliant !!! The future of sport aviation is light paratrikes . Every school in the world needs one of these trainers to accelerate the learning process . Congratulations on your great idea !

I hope your grass comes in well. No one can say you haven't worked your tail off to improve the air strip. Job well done!

Very safe innovative idea! Way to think outside the box and whenever I am able to get back to Springhill, I'm taking that thing for a cruise!

Maybe the most entertaining content I have seen on KZbin in a while! I bet if someone learned how to taxi with your trainer they would pick up regular kiting faster. You should try that with some new students. Might wind up being step 1? Thanks for posting

Yep - power management, wing management and coordinating the 2 - that's why I SUCK at it and have a busted hand! :D Whoever invented that sprinkler head was a friggin genius! Look how simple that is, and it WORKS. Wish they'd design automobiles this way - maybe I'd keep some skin on my forearms and knuckles. Nice work on that trike! Thing popped that wing up like nuthin'! Sure beats running your ass off. Now you should take it out during strong conditions, just to say you "flew" it, even if for only 20' - 50' or so, lol. :D

I'm making that decision whether I should foot launch or trike due to some knee damage.

No harm in doing both. Pros/Cons.

@@kyleoglee it's harm that I'm specifically worried about :) Most trike/footlaunch comments are from fat guys....I represent the Skinny Bastard Contingent.....we are often forgotten.....

@@MrUpscaleman Skinny and SHORT bastard here! I've got asthma - I could run, but I choose not to. I'm still learning. I was doing great, then I developed this bad habit of not watching my wing just before takeoff, and rolled the SOB over & busted my hand. That's typical for how I learn. I pick something up fast, then regress afterwards, lol. Too much fun in the 80's I guess. It's really simple once you get the hang of it - I just chose to make it complicated. Plus my launch & landing area doesn't leave much room for error, so that makes it tough for me as a rookie.

I have a foot launch and when I hurt an ankle, I added a 20lb trike frame to my collection. Tis nothing but a thing to take the foot rig but toss the trike frame in the truck too. I LOVE both and its 5 minutes to bolt the wheels on, same wings, same motor, same frame, same brake lengths. Basically its wheels on a foot launch. Get both, youll use both. Trike landing is one of the great joys, I'll tell ya that much. Im a 130lb guy and my trike does fine with an atom 80. Its mostly wing selection unless you are quite heavier. I do prefer foot just slightly, but not enough to even worry about flipping a coin about it. Takeoff distance is almost equal for me in nill winds. The trike does land a little longer than foot tho, specially as I've no wheel brakes. Flinstones didnt need em either. Flipping a trike is easier done than said, I've been there, done that, got spare props to prove it.

Please make a paramotor that is made for sale. Something that will collapse down and light. But easy to repair if it breaks. I can help with design if you like.

Excellent work Kyle! If you floor it and catch a slight breeze, does it lift ya at all? I know its not intended to, I'm just curious. Hell, a fart is all it takes to lift me off the ground sometimes.
