Somebody, please, give Mrs. Montero a most unique and prestigious Award- not yet existing- but first in its class- for reviving a faded and (mostly) lost art and for enriching our world with Beauty, Meaning via exceptionally hard and almost unteachable Unique Artistic Skill. What a rare accomplishment she has brought to the state of human cultural affairs: a Revival of lost art. We hopefully can appreciate and cherish Mrs. Montero, as we would any most unique genius on earth. I wonder if the confusion about the Chinese theme being in minor or not is because it may be originally written in a different tuning system than the 12-tone Western tuning, so there was no hope of getting the notes exactly right anyway. To my ears she got the right notes from what the first guy sang, but not the second guy's singing.

I wonder if that's why the crowd seemed generally unhappy about it in the first place... I mean they likely knew. As for the guys requesting, I guess they didn't get it... what they were requesting in relation to the somewhat standard ET tuning of a piano.
