Well this was a nice video . But I want to add somethings : There are some things which are cheap here in US. 1. Cars 2. Electronics Rent and food are expensive but u can manage if u don't got to big restaurants. In the end I would like to share my experience. So after I completed my masters I got a package of 85k dollars after rigorous interviews. And that year I ended up sending 40k dollars(almost 25 lakh) home to India as I didn't spend to much. That almost covered my whole education loan So it depends person to person one can even save more than me too.

@Super Cool lol my uncle has a servant here in Mumbai broght fron village for 10k per month salary(living in same house,food not covered) , he does the following daily, dusting, cleaning all rooms both jhadu poccha (bathrooms occasionally), bringing and making food(3 times sometimes more) , occasionally massaging. how much will it cost in the US??😂😂
@kalpitshukla6295 жыл бұрын
@Super Cool 1) A guy starts working a a starting salary of say 100k in the US will say save $30k for the next 5-10 years investing. 2) A starter in India on $10000 salary that's the high avg. Will in the next year save how much after living luxuriously. We'll say $15000 in 5 years with investing. This initial investment is enough to offset the 30lk salary the guy in India on avg will start earning after 7-8 years of experience. And the guy in the US is not sitting on the same 100k salary range when one in India goes to reach 30lk. Any sense?
@kalpitshukla6295 жыл бұрын
@Super Cool Live your dream life. 🙂
@kalpitshukla6295 жыл бұрын
@Super Cool What I am saying is who can save more and retire early. The guy working in foreign can come back and settle in India. Many developed countries have higher salary and once saved in INR the scenario changes. Also the US salary mentioned is avg in NY, San Francisco whereas the Indian salary in the video explained is higher and very few will get it. How many in India can buy a nice house in the city ? You are calculating based on wife working in India and not abroad. In India 5 - 10 years experience how many can save for their kids education ( expenses are rising with inflation) etc. The guy working abroad can come back to India. 😉

I agree that this is a video on PPP.The video says that You make more in India which is actually true, but I want to point out the difference in the quality of life in both countries. Unless India develops to provide good quality of living, what is the use of money? For example, you buy an Audi car but have to fight for road space in India and have to risk your life while you get from point A to point B.

@@arunamsharma6178 dude, it all depends on priorities. you all are judging their status through their cars and electronics but reality is different. for me status is not decided by fancy car or iphones, status is decided by the type of food you are able to afford, type of clothes you are able to afford, type of environment you are living in, type of education your kids are getting, whether you're able to buy a house or not, how are you enjoying your festivals etc. etc. it all depends on amount of FREEDOM , not just fancy cars. FREEDOM is not just in materialistic pleasures. if you enjoy an audi then alone enjoy then. for others it's the liberty that matters. liberty of spending your free time, liberty in type of work you do, liberty in food u eat, liberty in clothes you wear. if you are earning good amount of dollars(*converted in Rs) , but not able to afford clothes in other country then what's the benefit. in india you get good clothes in average prices of 8000-9000 Rs. (per person 3 shirts+3jeans+shoes).

@AssetYogi5 жыл бұрын
It's not 17 times expensive, rather 4 times cheaper in India. Instead of exchange rate of 70, we are taking 17.5 based on PPP. So, 70/17.5 is 4. Examples are many, like real estate cost, labor cost, and even the burger example that I gave in the video. We don't pay Rs. 280 for an average burger, rather Rs. 60-70 is the average price. Hope it clarifies.
