Have you done vestibular exercises to help too or only use CBT?
@balanceyourlifenow16513 жыл бұрын
I did try the generic VR exercises but found no benefit. I do my own exercises and also lots of practicing calmness and stillness, focusing on feeling how I want to feel. For me and lots of others it's about training your brain to feel stillness and calm. You achieve this by finding ways to feel safe and trust what you feel in your body whether it wanted or unwanted. We are all different though so healing from this condition can be quite unique

Do you remember what time your pppd start? And which emotional trauma happened that year?
@balanceyourlifenow16513 жыл бұрын
Sept 2017 after a night out, I think I had my drink spiked. I was a little unwell before I went out that night. The dizziness started 2 days later. Docs suspected labrynthitis but I guess I'll never know for sure

@@balanceyourlifenow1651 before this event did you experience any trauma. Or did you see anyone to fall down or did you fall down. Because some people can heal to find trauma. And you need to clear this moment from your subconscious

do you know if cbd oil would be helpful for treating pppd?
@balanceyourlifenow16513 жыл бұрын
Not as a treatment, no. I tried it and it made no difference just helped slightly with anxiety. But it doesn't actually change the neurons in the brain and will not aid Neuroplasticity as far as I am aware. Each to their own though you could always try it and see if it benefits you in any way.

@@balanceyourlifenow1651 are you still on it or did you just not continue?
@balanceyourlifenow16513 жыл бұрын
No, I'm not. To be honest I stopped chasing the "external fixes" a long time ago. You don't need anything other than the power of your bodies own natural ability to heal. And I know that sounds crazy but the more you look for something outside of you to "take" the more you give your power away and the more you support the belief that this isn't something you can do yourself. Trust me I spent years chasing doctors, trying different diets, supplements, you name it and none of it helped me more than how much i have helped myself by trusting my body and applying Neuroplasticity daily

@@balanceyourlifenow1651 That makes so much sense and actually exactly what I needed to hear. I'm focused on healing myself with my mind but I feel like I still have one toe in the chasing down answers. This made me remember I have everything I need to heal myself within me. Thank you Emma, sweet soul.

@@HotTopics410 that's such a normal and human response though, and something we can all relate to. But yes, you have all the answers and it sounds like you're right on track to finding them 🙏🏼❤
