Hey dude, love your content. I played in Pasadena PQ with Qira/Yellow (lol, long story), and ended up going 3-2 before dropping from top8 contention. In short, I think we need to 1/1 Confiscate in mb/sb. My logic for the event was also to drop Hyloforcers not for early stabilization vs. Sabines, but also to make room for more cards that can be relevant. I think Confiscate is one of these cards. Right now, the meta is very equip heavy, including other control mirrors where carbonite, entrenched is present, but darksabers, and bobas armor is on the rise. It's a easy resource, or a cheap bait spell vs. relentless. It's even relevant vs. Tarkin/yellow where you can peel the exp and run your Inferno into a Phantom, or take a 6/6 Childsen into Takedown range, or peeling shields in Qira mirrors to make Barrage more relevant later game.

Can confirm after testing Bossk blue into boba green, it’s not too hard of a matchup you just need to side board in Imprisoned for Relentless so you don’t need to waste a removal spell to kill it. By the time relentless is played you’ve already ran through most Power’s and Take downs / Rivals fall, so you need an extra restock just in case in the sideboard for mirror control. Then for boba just one incase you need some extra removal in the end. Search your feelings is also slept on to restock then search your feelings to shuffle your odds to draw what you restocked sooner. Seems slow but for hard control at least for Bossk, you can keep healing so damage isn’t an issue when you can search for whatever you want. Overall just needs some tool box tricks for problems like relentless

Yeah Bossk Blue definitely does well into Boba Green. It would be my choice for a big tournament. I agree "Imprisoned" is a good counter for Relentless. I also like "Tech" as a 1-2 of as a way to have additional outs to discard strategies. (Han2 Blue/Rey Red/Boba Yellow/Han Yellow)

I think using other cheap events instead of Imprisoned would be my preference. The plan is to immediately remove Relentless either way

@@fernandocastanon2237 yeah but with death mark and Pershing I just draw into more options. Bazine only effective half the time in my testing in most games I negate what she discard with restock and search your feelings so it nulls the purpose of Bazine tbh

great video! i love your insights and listening to the analysis of your build. what worked. what didnt. how did the 1 Snoke feel? i've been considering lowering from 2 to 1 as well for the 30HP defensive build of Qira Green (w/ Childsens and Dooku)

Snoke was good against the Mono Yellow Boba but I didn't feel like I needed more. Having said that, the Reinforcement Walkers mostly underperformed so there may be some wiggle room at the top of the curve.

The most valuable comment i found in your video was refering to Power of the dark side not been enable because of smaller unit. Grum turn 1, ressuply, and boom, power is a dead card. Very valuable comment. Specially in your ECL variant, maybe its time to remove inferno four for viper droid and pit the 1/4 grit back over doctor. Love that part of the video. Similar thing would apply to other control. brilliant comment

Thanks for the kind words! I'm not sure yet which early drops I want to move around, but I definitely missed having a 3 power unit on the ground (I ran 3x Hyloban Enforcer in my Gen Con winning list). Pershing was very good at the PQ so I don't think he's the swap, but I will play around with it.

Lol you Qira deck is 4 cards off my Krennic deck. I am still trying to prove his value in the heal and that extra point of damage. And I am working a consistent method to drop first light for the overwhelming damage.

Interested to see if other decks catch up to boba even more next set, despite him getting a few more boosts. Our store showdown this weekend was qira ecl and sabine ecl at the top. Not sure there was a single boba green player.

I'm a blu/green/black player from the beginning and i won a Showdown with Qi'ra green (i love her )but NOW the meta is really aggressive with Sabine and Bobas! I've been testing krennic again over the last few days and it seems to be working fine.

It's probably time for Qira players to play again Cargo Juggernaut instead of Vigilance. The meta deal pretty poorly with shields and the ambush abilty with ECL / Timely Intervention could be relevant too.

So Boba remains a very powerful choice because it simply has game in to everything. I think Green has been performing solid in to most decks, and can even grind better than mono yellow which helps it in the control match ups.

I play Kylo in my Bossk ECL. He can also one shot Boba.
