In my head, I like to think that Ninjor from MMPR season 2 created the Wind Ninja Academy and, with the prior knowledge of the previous rangers, created the Wind morphers. Ninjor's gear even LOOKS like he based the suits off himself.

personally I think that actually the Wind Ninja Academy was not created by Ninjor, but Ken Watanabe used Ninjor's technology to create the wind power rangers. There is even an episode that the Watanabe sensei clearly says that they "rebuilt the zords" and that "the technology was lost and spread around the world". In addition, Ken implied that the Thunder zords were originally created to match the zords of the wind rangers. Most likely, Lothor found the thunder zord technology first and rebuilt them, but the wind rangers' zords were created or at least their technology was created by Ninjor.

CG Gaming I guess. Personally, I wouldn't mind the comedic tone that Ninja Storm was going for, if the writers at that time were at least trying make it intentionally funny. You know?! Or if the characters, themselves were actually interesting to watch. Kind of like the episode, "The Wild Wipeout", where Tori accidentally entered a parallel universe where the other five rangers were evil and Lothor and his army were good?! In that episode, when we saw the two sides fight in a comedic fashion....*THAT* was intentionally funny, to me at least. But, I'm sorry. It's just that I can't take this show or the comedic tone seriously, if the characters, aside from Cam, Zurgane, and Vexecus, aren't that interesting to watch. I mean, they were decently acted by the cast, but, it's just that it didn't have that certain *spark* that would have me say, "LOL!!! That was actually pretty funny." Or, "wow, that was amazing!!!'" Now, I will say that there are some good episodes in Ninja Storm that are worth watching as standalone episodes, but the rest of the show...it didn't impress me that much. Sorry! Oh well.....at least there are other Power Rangers seasons that will continue to peak my interest. And I really do hope that Power Rangers Ninja Steel doesn't do so bad adapting Ninninger.

CG Gaming What?! You serious?! I actually though Dino Charge is a pretty good series, so far. Plus, it's a hell of a lot better that Super Megaforce. Remember that abysmal season that tried to act like appreciated and care about the long-existing history of Power Rangers for over 20 years?! Yeah, it's that forgettable!!! Also, we just got some new villains for Dino Supercharge, and if you'd seen Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters, you might actually notice that there are some shades of Enter's character within the characters of Heckyl and Snide.

in my own opinion , and my analytic comparison technique , i would say that the best footage is the original version (which is SUPER SENTAI) . hurricaneger uses more elements to make the series more convincing to watch , just like roll calls , ninja moves and uniqueness of it . take a look at the 8:17 part which is the best for me when shiina yousuke (Hurricane Red) says "Chou Ninpou ! Kage No Mai !"you will see walls made of wood and paper the ninjas slash their enemies , however the U.S. version made its terrible move to make it original and better than hurricaneger . you will decide if i am correct or not . it's your choice .

After watching the mystic ranger version, I realize now that the reason the fight scenes were cut in the western version were for each ranger to have their own individual shot of their transformation. The Sentai put all of them onto one screen for their first transformation to make room for the fight scenes.

Corey Levine Actually, what I meant was that if the team-up had actually happened back in 2003, *waaaaaaay* before Rick Medina's allegations and before he got arrested for "killing" his roommate, then perhaps, I would've thought differently about Ninja Storm. I know that the actual TV team-up between Ninja Storm and Wild Force may not happen nowadays because of Mendina's legal issue. But, that doesn't mean that the team-up wouldn't happen in other forms of media. Namely, in a comic book adaptation or in a possible movie reboot in the near-future.

these 2 are great show in their own way, I’m glad I use my earphone to differentiate each version Hurricanger is definitely the most entertaining in term of story telling aspect, but Hurricane Storm can visually excels what Hurricanger lacks, like the talking rat now become a cgi rat that is acrobatic, the basement is more fitting for a dojo like, etc but still, I love both shows, I grew up with Hurricanger, but I can still enjoy Ninja Storm nonetheless, Disney era Power Ranger was great

Here's my thoughts on the rangers for this season (which I prefer) Shane < Yousuke Dustin < Kouta Tori > Nanami Hunter < Ikkou Blake > Isshuu Cam >>>>>>>>>>>> Asuka You could say it's a tie unless you count the extra 11 for Cam. Cam also beats Tenkai or whatever his name was. It's just my opinion though.

Half-asleep actors, ugly 'guinea pig' thing (not cute like Sentai counterpart) with soooo-bad voice acting (guy sounds really dead) , pointless teenage banter, crap 'music'.....anything truly cool and ninja like removed surgically I'm proud to be a 'tokusatsu purist' and these comparison videos remind me why!

oh, and it looks like the editors (butchers?) cut out MOST of the cool action (the illusion dimension? the Copy Ninja technique?, shuriken? the excellent rollcall, the shadow techniques...) What's the point of Americanizing it all? Hey America, learn to read subtitles!! (or learn Japanese!!)

I was actually the same way. As far as ninja storm goes, I enjoyed it. Disney did a much better job at adapting the series than Saban ever did or does.

One thing I'm glad Ninja Storm did was make their morphing sequence and roll call much shorter than hurricanger’s. Everytime they do their long roll call in hurricanger, I’m all like, “HOW LONG IS THIS GOING TO TAKE?!”

I grew up with Sentai version but now I prefer the Ninja storm ver. Don't know why but it feels so cringy right now when I recall about sentai. I means, it's a bit childish... with lots of talks... and... typical power of friendship/belief of the main characters of all anime... Ninja storm makes things much more sense and even realistic for a power ranger franchise. Don't get me wrong, still love both of them...

I prefer Hurricaneger as I love thé cast for both the rangers and villains and love more focusing on the ninja elements of the show. Ninja Storm made the ninja aspect feel too white washed.

This is actually a big problem PR continues to do with anything asian culture. If your going to do a theme series based on asian culture at least enlighten others about than use cliche themes like aliens to get away with it.

rangersentaiguy2 that's more a legal issue, for the longest time do to a contract with toei whoever had the power rangers liscenses in the US had to adapt each Sentai it's only in recent years they could skip seasons do to the broadcast requirements of Nickelodeon in the neo saban era but for the longest time they couldn't, it's why Megaforce is goseiger and gokaiger, strictly speaking saban and the directors wanted to do gokaiger but toei was adamant that they adapt goseiger, so power rangers is always dependent on toei and Sentai, even with the most recent season it was either adapt the train one or ninninjer both of which stories make zero sense with American culture, the train America has long since abandoned it's reliance on trains focusing more jet and car travel, and with ninninjer while they had a bases for it to be used in power rangers it's story is very Japanese so yeah it wouldn't make sense to American kids, they could have direct translated some of the story and themes from ninninjer but they already tried that with shinkenger and that failed spectacularly because the idea of honor and duty of fulfilling a birthright doesn't translate to American audience which is about freedom to choose your future Tl: Dr Power rangers is dependent on Sentai because legal if the Sentai team is a very Japanese team they have to adapt it and to adapt it so it would make sense for American audience otherwise we get power rangers samurai,

Ninja storm did an AMAZING job with the original morphing scene. Also it's very apparent that power rangers had such a shitty soundtrack that they had to make funny quips every few seconds while fighting to avoid having too much silence.
