PR has made original monster growing footage before, but here, all Ninja Storm did was just use one of the multiple methods the Hurricanger villains use to grow their monsters for Ninja Storm. The only original footage here is the monster appearing as a giant where as the footage of the scroll appearing came from Hurricanger.

Since I've never watcher Hurricanger even though I should have, I didn't know how they made the giant monster was pretty much the same from Fiveman. I guess this gives me incentive to actually watch the Japanese version now.

Yeah, and Ninja storm only kept the remote control part, and used to scroll all throughout the season. (Scroll was only for Chuubo's monsters in Hurricanger) I guess the scroll seemed the most interesting.

He's already working on the "legendary battle" comparison video. Although, you can't really call it a comparison, since 99% of the "Legendary Battle" in Super Megaforce is mostly original footage and the megaforce team spouting out unnecessary expositions during the fight scenes and really, really, *REALLY* lazy editing. But, at least in Gokaiger, the immediately give us the legend war in the first episode, before we actually got to the main storyline of the show, instead of just wasting everyone's time, effort and money leading us on for like two years building up to....whatever the Hell Super Megaforce was trying to do in the final episode (Both TV and Extended versions, respectively).

I wouldn't say its a copy or an adaptation. The original power rangers used direct episodes from Super Sentai. And while you may say this is copying, they did have permission from Super Sentai, so it falls under 'fair use' cause the creators essentially agreed on it.
