@@palastofhistory4026 well the DDR was commonly referred to as the Red Prussians and everyone's Grandparents who marched to this music lived in the State of Prussia so its okay to call it Prussian.

@Jackobt Thoronn Es gibt wenig und schon gar keine Gründe auf das kommunistische Experiment "ddr" stolz zu sein. Die Deutschen haben's ausgehalten, ja . Die Märsche preußisch ja , vielleicht war die DDR sogar preußischer als der westliche Teil Deutschlands und ja die NVA war eine zackige und sehenswerte Erscheinung , die DDR als System , war für jeden normalen Menschen allerdings ein Katastrophenfall der deutschen Geschichte. Mauer Stacheldraht und Personenminen sind Symptome einer widerlichen marxistischen Ideologie . Der Präsentiermarsch ist klasse und sollte auch bei unserem ÖBH eingeführt werden . 🙋🏼‍♂️🇦🇹🎗🇩🇪

I don't know why it is called "slow march" in the description. a "Präsentiermarsch" is generally played when someone important (Head of state, general of the army) arrives and the army greets him

Aus militärischer Sicht hat die DDR die preußischen Traditionen weiterleben lassen (gut, es war natürlich auch sowjetischer Einfluss da, aber trotzdem)

Die NVA hat einen auf preußiche Traditionen gemacht, um die Zustimmung der Bevölkerung zu bekommen. Der Staat war aber marxistisch und damit genau das Gegenteil von Preußen.

@Molli Vogel Ja Friedhofsordnung , allerdings war die NVA keine nationale Armee, sondern eine Regimearmee. Trotzdem ein gutes Stück DEUTSCHER Armeetradition. Man hätte Adjustierung und Disziplin übernehmen sollen , für unser ÖBH und auch die BW. Wie schön wäre es eine gesamtdeutsch/österreichische Armee zu haben.
