That's brilliant! I would do it with my 3Doodler.... but a 3D printer is even better :D Would love to see more stuff like this! :)

There is just a little problem! The filament from the roles seems to be hard to use with the pen.... Seems like it is bend too much. The basic filament of the pen is normally completely straight. Any suggestions what I can do?!?!

Alex Cio - Alapse Hm why is that a problem? Is the pen not able to push through that slightly bent filament? You could maybe try to clamp a piece of filament from a roll into a vice or something and warm it up with a heat gun. Maybe you can get it straight..

haha nice! I also have the Monoprice Select Mini and actually one of the first things I did to upgrade this beautiful little machine was your flexible filament mod for the extruder (which is also in my miniature version monoprice mini on Thingiverse btw www.thingiverse.com/thing:2204896) and it works great! I haven't even had one jam so far. The funny thing though, is that a friend of mine who has the exact same bandsaw asked me to make a replacement for the exact same part. That I also modeled in Fusion 360, and printed in Colorfabb filament! :D great channel. keep going!

+Baschz Leeft Awesome! That bandsaw is pretty old so that is a pretty unlikely coincident :) That was also the reason why I did not even bother putting that part on thingiverse.

I think you need to take some time and go to inplix website to learn how to make it.

if you have a bandsaw, why dont you just simply cut a new one out of wood? :D

+Ákos Kováts Well. The bandsaw had a broken cover plate. So it was unusable..

You learn a new skill (potentially) and design it one time, then you have it forever to reprint at your desire... and you can help out your fellow makers, time well spent in my eyes. :)
